The New Orleans City Council presented a proclamation to Reuben Bernard of Bernard Transportation to recognize 32 years of outstanding service. Reuben Bernard III is a native New Orleanian, dedicated son and father. Reuben realized his desire to work with the public at an early age when he began his first job as a valet attendant for the Sheraton hotel.

What a delight to meet Mr Bernard! Not only did he pick up his phone immediately when I called, he also kept checking with me regarding my date of arrival and the arrival time. I arrived at one of the busiest weekends of the year and there he was smiling at me--while everyone else was waiting 2-3 hours for an Uber or a taxi. It was a privilege to listen to Mr Bernard as we drove into the city. He explained the history of New Orleans and recommended various restaurants. Mr Bernard was there right on time to the minute when I was ready to leave my hotel and return to the airport six days later

Bernard Transportation provided us a safe, clean, reliable and reasonably priced transport to and from the airport on our visit to NOLA. But it’s even better than those things; Reuben is a happy, honest, helpful, delightful person. He was there, in the airport, waiting for us when we arrived even after our plane was late. He had texted us to tell us not to worry about our late plane so that when we landed and had cell service again, it was the first thing I saw and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that piece of mind upon arriving in an unknown city. Flight delayed, then flight canceled, so new flight leaving @ 650am & the Airport shuttle wasn't available until 6am (which wouldn't work). So I googled Airport Transportation & called Bernard Transportation, spoke with Ruben (very friendly & polite) advised of situation & he agreed to get us at the Airport by 5am. They kept in contact up until time of pickup, arrived on time (actually early) to get us, got us to the airport, & was more economical than the airport shuttle we had previously used. Support Bernard Transportation they are AWESOME!!!

Rueben and his crew are amazing! We loved them so much. We arranged for airport transportation and then utilized them for our swamp tour. Bernard Transportation is reliable, affordable and knowledgeable. Not only did we get transportation for our large group but we also learned all sorts of stuff about NOLA. Mr.Bernard was such a pleasure to do business with. If I could be honest, it felt like one of our uncles was picking us up and showing us what NOLA is truly about. He picked my husband and I up, had our meet and greet sign available (which was super nice and made my husband feel special) and even had a nice gift waiting for us! Let's not even talk about the prices and hospitality! He has everyone BEAT!!! We truly enjoyed our trip, he even took us on a tour and it was just amazing. I recently completed my annual "Girls" trip and fifth visit to The Big Easy. My group of 9 needed roundtrip airport transportation and I opted for one vehicle versus taking multiple cars. I did a internet search which lead me to Yelp where I found Bernard Transportation.
The owner, Reuben was fantastic. Not only was he prompt, he was reasonably priced and provided a warm welcome. He created a sign for us ladies, beads, a Kings cake, and postcards. That was so very nice of him to do.

I booked Bernard Transportation based on its reviews, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Reuben knows customer service and delivers an experience above the rest. He met my sister and I in the baggage claim area and brought gifts for my sister, since it was her first trip to New Orleans. I was so happy with Reuben's service that I booked a private tour of the city with him. Again, Reuben delivered a great experience. Don't waste your time with other car services. Bernard Transportation is all you need in the Big Easy.

After reaching out to a couple of different ground transportation companies for my 50th birthday celebration, I decided to book with Bernard Transportation due to their excellent customer service and great rates. Ruben was amazing from the first phone call. We had a large group of people coming into New Orleans from California on various flights going to multiple Air BNBs. He was able to accommodate our pick ups and drop offs as well as a large van for all 15 of us to go to our air boat tour (ice chest included). If I could give him 10 stars I would! We are planning to return next year and will DEFINITELY be calling Ruben again if he'll tolerate us again LOL.

I would highly recommend Bernard Transportation. Reuben greeted us with beads and goodies when he picked us up. He also took us to a great restaurant, which we will be back. We also enjoyed the tour, and got to see a different side of New Orleans. Reuben was punctual, very polite and the van was clean. We will definitely be using Reuben's services again for tours and airport transportation.

Came to NOLA for the weekend....
Met our driver Ruben at the airport.....very friendly and nice true symbol of what southern hospitality is!!! He was very imformative and when he picked me up from my hotel he had a box of chocolate covered starwberries for me those acts of kindness goes a long way! Very reasonable pricing compared to others..I recommend!

I was having a hard time finding a transportation company that could provide a carseat for our airport to hotel transfer until I called Bernard. I was surprised that he himself picked up the phone and assured me that not only could he provide us with a carseat, but at a competitive rate and that the carseat covers are regularly washed! Bernard was prompt, professional, an absolute pleasure to chat with to and from the hotel, and a great driver who seems to have a great reputation with everyone in the city!
