Karina did such an amazing job on my haircut! I have thin caucasian hair which had grown out; it was too long and knotted easily. She did a wonderful hair transformation that turned out so pretty and neat so that it gives a slightly fuller appearance. (Photos are in order before then after the cut—color difference is from fading DIY color-depositing conditioner)

I have very curly hair and usually get a Devacut but I decided to try this place out for a cut and balayage. I am very happy with the results. The color looks great-distinct but natural. The cut is great too. Amad gave my hair a full look without giving me triangle hair. He started with a dry cut, then colored it, straightened it and cut off a little more. The atmosphere was fun and casual. You can tell the staff all get along and enjoy their job. Would highly recommend!

Updated review since Karina really saved me. Was in a wedding and the hairstylists for the bridal party bailed due to covid. I had no idea what I wanted and Karina styled the perfect updo that lasted all day and through a rainstorm. I appreciate that this salon allows tips through Venmo as I left her extra for her efforts.

My friend and I consulted with Aamad before getting our hair done and knew we were in good hands! Both of us had virgin black hair and were nervous about getting a balayage in case we needed to bleach it but we absolutely love it. Aamad gave us a very natural balayage and styled it with the perfect hair cut. It's better than what we expected and we're glad! The people here are not only efficient but super friendly too. I'll end with the note that if you want to get your hair transformed but aren't sure what will look good on you, come to Amaci!

How can I express how much I love this salon besides to say that I've been coming since they opened! Not only that I've followed the owner since 1994! They have created a Salon that you come in, relax, get pampered and laugh! Color, Highlights, straightening top of the line products and ALWAYS SO many compliments for weeks after services. Amad is a genius when it comes to any hair. I have been a customer here many years ago and recently moved and tried many different salons in Boston.. but had poor results with hair colorist!!
I had a bad balayage when I came back to Amad.. and even during my 1st visit back after many years.. he fixed my hair and the balayage was exactly how I wanted it. He is a perfectionist and thanks to Amad, now I love my hair again!!!

Amaci is the salon to go for highlights and styling. Moreover, if you have thick, long hair or soft wavy hair you too have to go to Amaci for color. Amad is very sensitive with the placement of the highlights. Super balayage. I always have excellent cool tone and occasional chic warm tone. His color never turns orange on me. Also Amad managed to maintain the quality of my hair in great condition even I do roots and highlights frequently. I don't know how he did that, my hair looks good between appointments. Amad is a visionary and very skillful. I live in Manhattan, and I travel

Drastically changed my hair color in February. After a lot of research, Amad at Amaci Salons name kept coming up, for the reviews of exactly what I wanted. Several hours in the salon and my hair was exactly how I had envisioned and more, it was perfect! I love it! If your told you can't go platinum in 1 visit, go visit Amad.

I have been going to Amad for nearly 10 years. This man is an artist! His attention to detail is impeccable. I came in with a botched balayage and fried hair, and he not only fixed it BEAUTIFULLY but managed to redeem the quality of my hair too. I went this morning for the first time. My hair came out great. The stylist didn't arrive until 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start and then took a few more minutes to prepare, but I didn't have any plans after so it wasn't a huge deal. Another stylist was also late so just keep that in mind if you have a tight schedule. I would recommend Ria if you have long hair and need a trim but are nervous about a stylist cutting too short. She did a great job, removed the dead ends while preserving the length.

I went to Amaci Salon yesterday after doing a bit of research on hairdressers in Boston that could handle my curls. I came in needing a cut and craving a change in color, as I was getting bored of my dark long hair and I have never dyed it before. I told Amad to do whatever he thinks would look good, as he is the artist , and I trusted him. I am so glad that I did. He did balayage and a nice cut, and I can't stop looking at my hair in the mirror! He also made me feel like a model throughout the experience, taking photos throughout the transformation. It was a very fun afternoon :)
