This is by far the best complex I had lived. We just moved in few weeks ago. The manager was very professional and prompt with rental application and with the move in process. The property is located behind a residential housing so it’s very quiet, peaceful. We love the serene atmosphere. We met few residents,it seemed that most people are long term tenants. I highly recommend checking this apartment out if looking to relocate.

The complex is absolutely pristine. Quiet, tranquil setting. Moireen is tough but fair. I like that. Always on top of things. I have been here for three (3) glorious years and am sorry to leave but life is taking me elsewhere. Pricing is pretty competitive. One of the nicest apartment complexes in Petaluma.

Worst Neighbors behind the residential neighborhood on Jess Ave. Not the tenants but owners are rude and non responsive. Also told their employees to trespass on our land and modify our fence, which is our property and not on their land. Threatened for walking dogs on the river which I have since I was a kid. When notified the management was both rude, and completely out of line. They are breaking the law and flaunting it. The management will be very lucky if they do not get sued in years to come.

Just moved out due to relocation of my new job. Oak Creek is wonderful place to live if you need quite and peace. This place is drama free and Management make sure rules are applied to all tenants to keep the peace and harmony of the community. Maintenance is very responsive. Repairs are taken care of in a timely manner.
I highly recommend checking oak creek out when in area.

It is a beautiful place to look at and walk around if you don't see the manager Maureen. The manager Maureen constantly harasses you. You would not want to spend a year in this place. I've almost completed a year here and I have been harassed by that lady so many times. If you want to go to the pool you can't go to the pool without having specific rules that are too specific. She will find dumb things to pick on you about and try to kick you out of places you have rights to go to. She doesn't know when to stop. I don't know why they hired her to begin with and I don&apos

I lived here for 2 years - very respectable and nice community space. Apartment itself is decent, updated appliances and maintenance was always quick on resolving issues, however the craftsmanship in the apartment (such as shelving, or closet doors / bathroom doors) was lacking, creating unsightly features and daily hassles.
Biggest concerns:
Always issues with washer / dryers
Nice community pool - but is only open 2-3 months out of the year
SECURITY DEPOSIT - although it is cheaper than most places, the complex manager nickles and dimes you for every charge. Do not expect to receive much back

We have been living here for almost a year now, and overall it has been a nice place to live. Moireen, the manager is very helpful and friendly. Whenever we have had any issues, she is quick to rectify it. The apartment itself is nice and spacious, and well kept. The surrounding grounds are well kept and beautiful being right by the Petaluma River. We basically have our own little wildlife preserve right outside our back door. My only complaint is the floor between the first and second story is thin, so you can here a lot of noise from above. Otherwise we are very happy here.

We moved in just two weeks ago and we already love it here. The grounds are beautiful with oak trees and redwoods. We have such a beautiful view of oak trees out our back patio. It's quiet, peaceful, the grounds are kept up nice and clean, the apartment was nice and clean inside. Love the close space, and beautiful kitchen counters. We're super happy thus far. Moireen, the office manager, is so great to work with. Sweet, kind and a stickler for making sure the apartment complex is kept up nice and comfortable for tenants.
Update June 2017. still love it here, love the beautiful grounds

This is the worst place to live only because the property manager Moireen. She is very controlling and will not give you your deposit back regardless of how clean your apartment is. If you have problems, which you will- contact Denis. denis@jcjinvestment.com
We only lived here ten months and our place was spotless upon move out. They asked us to pull away the stove from the wall and open the lid underneath the burners. Apparently that doesn't even qualify for normal wear and tear? Having a few crumbs...

With the less than 1% vacancy rate in Petaluma, it took me months to find a suitable place to live. Having looked at all of the major apartment complexes in the area, Oak Creek was the best place by far. Although it is a slightly older complex, the inside of the apartment is newly renovated and nice, and it is a much smaller complex than the giant newer ones that gouge you on rent. Oak Creek is quiet, peaceful, and reasonably priced, with quite a lot of square footage for the money as compared to the other complexes. Moireen, the apartment manager, has been friendly, helpful, and a pleasure

I lived in this apartment complex from December of 2013 to August of 2015, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience.
To begin I was very impressed with the amenities in which the complex has to offer. For those who have kids there is a pool near the office and a jungle gym in the back feild. For us adults there is a small workout room that has some cardio equipment and a couple weights. Along with this they just remodeled the laundry facility that is closest to the front office with new tile, new washers, and new driers.
I would not recommend this apartment for those of

Don't believe the hype. Oak Creek is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. My wife and 2 year old son really enjoy it here. We are beginning our second year here.
Every apartment complex has issues. Oak Creek is no different. The issues we have experienced are very minor and all of our concerns have been resolved. We just transfered into a new unit and both of them were fully renovated. The grounds are kept nice and neat as well.
The manager, Moireen, is actually very nice. She has gone out of her way to make our experience here enjoyable.
The pool and gym have always been open

ZERO STARS! DON'T MOVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY HOW IT LOOKS, THE MANAGEMENT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!
1. The property manager will try to ruin your life. She is a sad excuse for a manager, I've never seen so little power go to someone's head. She HATES families and is extremely threatened females and targets them directly. She is aggressive to the point of harassment and is verbally abusive. After confrontation she then refuses to speak with you and makes her assistant handle it.
2. Damages were not repaired or removed from previous tenants. Mold, dents, scratches

So happy to be out of here! If you like 1970s appliances, deteriorating units, stained walls and carpets, no parking, unkept sidewalks and landscaping, and an unpleasant, dishonest, and unprofessional management staff, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, be sure to check out one of the many other complexes available in the area, because living here will soon become a nightmare for you like it did for us, and every other person we know unfortunately stuck living here. Take it from someone who spent a year and a half in this purgatory. Find somewhere else to live!

The property is ok on the exterior but old and gross on the inside of their apartments. OLD appliances, old laminate counter tops, gross old flooring. Your lucky IF you get new carpeting. The company who owns the property is less than professional. The tools they had managing on site just got the boot (May 2009) because occupancy rates have fallen badly. They have a new "manager" now. I could have sworn I saw her in the Tenderloin though a couple of months ago when I was.... forget it. Anyway, ... they seem to be renting to a lot of mexicans... I'll let that statement resonate with
