I haven't yet met any auto shop that really helped me with understanding what was wrong until my recent dealings with Bo. He was extremely honest and fair in his dealings. I highly recommend YHS with all car repairs and diagnostics. He saved me $1500 by replacing only what was necessary and not replacing the control arm as it was not cracked that some other car shops quoted necessarily.
Paul and his staff do business with honesty, sincerity, and integrity. He presents and prioritizes repair options and clearly explains the cost to repair or maintain. I had an issue with my suspension and dealership charged me $165 and could not fix it! I went on a ride with Paul and he diagnosed the problem. Glad it got fixed. These guys are the real deal

Highly recommend YHS. They are very thorough, professional, and they explain everything and keep you updated every now and then of the status of your vehicle. Waiting lounge is relaxing and very clean as well with coffee, water, tv and wifi. Bo was very professional and patient to answer all questions and explained everything well. Never going anywhere else from now on.

These guys are both cutting edge and old school at the same time. They completely understand and can diagnose any issues but are honest as can be. Tell you when they see something but it can wait or doesn't need to be replaced. Let you know up front what the price Is and stand by that estimate. They do business the way it should be done.

We came to YHS looking for an alternative to Honda Cars of Katy. The customer service is exceptional. They were not pushy and explained to us which repairs were more urgent and which could wait. The whole place gives a vibe of cleanliness and efficiency. We replaced break pads, changed transmission and break fluid. Car was ready the same day. We are happy with the work done and the customer service.

My civic was having problems starting. Sometimes it would start at the first turn of the key, other times it would take several tries for it to start. I went to YHS because of the great reviews and my experience with them was excellent from the moment I called to the time they handed me back my keys. YHS replaced the starter at a very reasonable price and their warranty was better than the dealership’s. It’s great to find mechanics who know their craft really well and charge you a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

YHS performed the 105,000 mile service for my 2007 Honda Accord V6 during the week of May 3, 2021. This included hoses, belts, and fluids replacement; new serpentine belt, timing belt, pulleys, water pump, oil change, new spark plugs, general tune up, interior air filter, etc., and complete inspection of vehicle, including battery, brakes, alignment, and a test drive. My housekeeper had her oil change by another vendor. She seemed agitated and in talking with her in my junior high Spanish, it turns out she checked her dip stick, thought it was low and had added a quart on her own. Now the car was not running well. I went out to check her oil and sure enough too much oil (design of the dipstick 2004 Camry, makes it hard to read). Since her English is limited, with Covid and masks, she was very upset and scared. First time here to service my Acura. I was apprehensive to try new automotive repair shops after being mislead by a few others. I came here to get a full synthetic oil change and they also did a comprehensive inspection for leaks.
The cost was reasonable, quick and honest. I was super surprised at the friendliness of the staff. They didn't try and up sell me random auto parts and extra unnecessary services. Their facility is super clean and it was obvious that they observed social distancing very well. Their waiting room was very clean, and it looked like everything had Benny recently

I traveled 30 miles to have my Honda Pilot checked out...the truck sounded like it did not want to start. The mechanic immediately diagnosed the problem and gave sound advice. This is my second time visiting YHS Automotive, and I do not trust any other service center with my vehicle. They are customer friendly and mechanical geniuses! Also, I checked in and received a free oil change.

Took my husbands and my own car in for the 35,000 mile check up. Gave me a quote (reasonable) and did all pertinent work on car. My car had a small oil leak after coming out of the shop, so my husband called them and they got me in asap. Diagnosed the problem and of course like a good business fixed it for free.
Second time I had to take my car in -because a nail was in my tire. Hoped that it was going to be an affordable patch job, but I had to replace a tire... didn't even try to talk me into replacing any of the others. In and out within 30 mins.

I have been a customer of Paul's for two and a half years, he has never once up sold any thing that I haven't needed. And 100% kept my 2012 Honda Civic running at full capacity. Also have even helped my mother fix her alluring VW Beetle when one could help her even VW. I even recently moved to Houston center of town and I still drive back to Katy for the YHS touch, once you go you will never go anywhere else for your cars. Alex and the rest of his staff are all wonderful and always willing to help. So I thank you Paul, Alex, and staff.

YHS stands for "Your Honda Shop", but this auto repair shop also specializes in Toyotas and has mechanics who have worked at the dealerships.
I brought my wife's FJ Cruiser and my daughter's Yaris to YHS. Although I have only had oil changes done, the vehicles were checked and recommendations were made on future needs.
It's best to call and get a reservation rather than stopping by.
The waiting room has free wifi, cable TV, water in the fridge, and a K-Cup brewer.
Don't forget to use the free oil change checkin

YHS is the kind of business you heard your Father & Grandfather talk about. An experienced mechanic who is a straight shooter, looking for a long term relationship as opposed to making a quick hit.
I have taken both of my cars to Paul since the day he opened and his approach has never deviated. He always does the basics really well and has never once tried to "up sell" me on anything.
