Since Living Hope Clinic opened its doors in Boise, Idaho, in 1993, our therapeutic team has offered counseling for individuals, families and children. Living Hope is a full service mental health clinic that has been providing excellence for over 20 years. Our attentive staff of licensed, experienced counselors are ready to help you through your most difficult times.
The key focus of this therapy is to seek self-awareness by looking at the past and examining how it effects present behavior. The focus of this modality is finishing unfinished business and increasing self-awareness through creative role-play and role-reversal. Therapists shed light on negative thinking and internal inaccuracies to help patients change their thinking and behavior patterns.
Dr. Rice is the owner of the clinic, and a licensed, clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. He has specialties in the addictions, including sex addictions, personality disorders, and the chronically mentally ill.
He was extensively trained in cognitive behavior therapy, (CBT), at Washington State University, where he obtained his doctorate, and Harvard Medical School where he was the first post-doctoral fellow in behavioral psychology.He also was a certified school psychologist. He continues to evaluate children for learning, and behavioral problems.

Children might seem simple, yet they have complex thoughts and feelings. While they can't always express these complexities in words, they will often express themselves through other behaviors or deeply process them internally. In order for children to express their complex feelings in healthy and productive ways, they sometimes need professional help.

Unable to get his office to answer the phone or respond to messages for two months!
My children were in urgent need of help, we were referred to his office from the hospital.
I left full informative messages on the answering machine and with the answering service more than 20 times being told "I will het this to them right away" I even emailed him directly, he said he will have his secretary call me first thing in the morning...NEVER CALLED! I even left another message with the answering service and email to him, NO CALL EVER!
They don't want your money or mine, and worse, don
