This is a great, quaint, Mexican restaurant. Both times my husband and I have come here the service has been unbelievably fast, the food hot, and the portions substantial. I love their salsa, it's got a very slight kick with plenty of cilantro. Last time we came here I got the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. The margaritas are STRONG. In a good way, of course. Overall this is a solid spot for some solid Mexican food. Highly recommend!

Just found this place although it’s been here for 2 years. Very good food and pleasant atmosphere. Worth a visit just to enjoy a local establishment. I got the Milio’s enchiladas with the green tomatillo sauce. Very nicely presented with a small green salad, rice and refried black beans. The beans could have been a little warmer but tasty needless to say.
Give it a try. I went at lunch but got a regular entree. Plenty of food and well priced for the amount of food.

The food is authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex slow-cooked with care. The seasoning in every bite was delicious, from the salsa to the enchiladas, absolutely DELICIOUS. I sat at the bar for 25 minutes, watching everyone else receive service but for me. I ordered a margarita; it was my first time there; I looked over the menu, hoping to make small talk with the bartender, but apparently, the color of my skin made him uncomfortable as he went to the young lady at the end of the bar at chit chat with her, then went to serve the tables on the floor NEVER, EVER coming back to see if I even wanted a second

During college I was on the east side of town and so I was planted directly in little Mexico. I know what good Mexican food smells taste and does to your bowels!! This place is best compared to a loosing team hitting a winning grand slam in the World Series with a full count!!!!! Quality flavor smh was so on point I want to order the same plate to go. I had the Chile rellano with steak fajitas filling and asked for sour cream topping and it was darn gooooood!!!!! Tender meat with very very flavorful sour cream topping! The black beans are not the cheap chewy watery mess you get with other restaurants

The food is good and service is fair. I ordered take out through Yelp, paid for it, and arrived at the restaurant to be told they don't accept Yelp orders. It required an ordeal to cancel the Yelp order, be repaid for the order (still awaiting confirmation and repayment), repay and reorder, etc. After all that, I got home with no chips. If you don't accept Yelp orders, don't advertise on Yelp that you accept orders.

My wife and I were craving Mexican food and Emilio’s had good reviews, so we gave it a try!… boy am I glad we did. I think this place may be our next go-to spot!
To start, the restaurant is very clean, the servers are extremely friendly, and I they are seriously SO fast!
The chips are great and the salsa is among the best I’ve ever had. It’s almost like a mix between pico de gallo and traditional salsa, I cannot emphasize how much I enjoyed it!
Their queso is quite literally the best queso I have ever had, and I don’t mess around with cheese - haha. It is absolutely delicious and a

We were in the neighborhood so we brought a party of 12 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon for a early dinner. We were sat pretty quickly. We took advantage of the yelp special for the small queso get a free upgrade to large and we ordered guacamole and another appetizer. They came out pretty quickly but they didn't give us little plates so it was kind of difficult to share these appetizers without plates but we improvised. We tried the house margaritas on the rocks that were pretty good. Our server was Ruth and she was friendly to some of us and then other people at the table didn't feel

Ordered the Texas enchiladas- rice and black beans. The rice was cooked perfect and had a nice flavor ( as if it was cooked in seasoned water). The chili con carne sauce was actually real chili- nice. The black beans were good- it was more of a paste , as opposed to actual beans. The enchiladas were very good. The tortillas were cooked so that they were not mushy, but not hard, crunchy, or chewy. I went in on Memorial Day, so it was not crowded at all- might have helped me get my food quicker. There was a very short wait time, which made me think my food might end up being not good- I WAS Wrong

Visited on a Saturday after running errands. It was a nice little spot and it wasn't that busy. I sat at the bar and looked over the menu. I will admit that I didn't do that much research bc there weren't many vegetarian friendly options. I ordered a frozen Casamigos margarita and queso while continuing to review the menu. I was also given chips and salsa.
I ended up ordering the Enchiladas Mineras with tomatillo salsa along with rice and beans. I wasn't too impressed with the food. The tomatillo salsa was acidic and seasoning on the veggies was light. The rice and beans were cool. Salsa was cool

Great basic Tex-Mex at good prices. The unassuming storefront in the middle of a strip center doesn't match the interior. There's a great "hole in the wall" vibe with upscale furnishings, art and full bar.
My husband and I ate lunch . Owner was there, he was super friendly and answered questions about the menu.
The tortilla soup (large) was a healthy portion filled with chicken tinga and avocado. My husband got the lunch carbon tacos and the serving was generous- an entire platter filled with 2 large soft tacos, black beans, salad and rice.
We will definitely come back

Came here randomly on a Tuesday. My husband and I were so happy with the food and atmosphere. Very clean and cozy. Chips and salsa really was delicious. Carne asada was tender and perfect. Personally I loved the queso wasn’t too spicy but loved the flavor. Add beef and tortillas and you got yourself a meal. Definitely will be coming back on a weekly basis.

What a precious hidden gem! We were so happy to stumble into Emilio's on a cold, rainy night during the holiday break. Always a win to find a neighborhood Tex Mex spot.
The queso flameado with chorizo was creamy and delicious. We also ordered the chicken, shrimp, and beef fajita combo (one order is enough for a table of 3).
Loved the intimate, family styled restaurant. The servers were kind and patient with us, even though we arrived 15 minutes before closing without even realizing!

Stumbled upon this place when we forgot our regular TexMex spot is closed on Mondays. Food was very good! Wish the service was a bit better, but maybe they were short staffed because of COVID.
The salsa with the chips was great and the ranchera sauce that they also give complimentary was the bomb! Fajitas were a very large portion and I enjoyed my enchiladas, great presentation. We'll be back!

This is the old Dickeys location across from Whataburger. Staff is nice. Great look inside. Excellent salsa n chips. I will go back. I will order something different next time. I had the tamale plate. Wasn't a fan bc of the green sauce and thought the rice and beans lacked flavor. The sour cream enchilada was really great. But i like i said i will be back and may even update my review.
