I drove my Honda there..and back..their mechanic, according to the service manager said it wouldn't crank. The diagnosis was told would be free..but they tried to charge me almost $60 afterwards. I was told there was a pressure test..and I needed a new engine. But the story kept changing cracked head ..head gaskets..radiator.."new engine" replaced used engine.. estimated cost over $6,000 !!! Used engines for this 2006 run between $500 and $1500.. There in an expensive location I should have known not to go there. That location is likely costing them $6k to 10k a month but I can't subsidize it.

We went there for a defective strut and a broken fog light. Sara was courteous and professional. She first told us that we should check with Acura for a warranty which did not work out. She searched for both genuine And aftermarket parts. There was no charge for evaluating our problem. We will not be doing the repair so can’t comment on the work but everything leading up to the repair was top notch.

I don’t know what happened to this business. When they first opened, they were amazingly professional and helpful.
That was absolutely opposite of my experience over the past week. No one I came across was very helpful. The front girl who answers the phone, Gayle, or somebody, is EXTREMELY RUDE!! She literally hung up on me and is very argumentative.
More importantly, they are more expensive than others around, charging $165 for diagnostics!

I set up an appointment with CarMax and they sent me to this automotive repair company. This is not my first time coming here for services. I was called to confirm appointment and I had additional questions and through the conversation the representative from Honest Care was rude, telling me I needed to take my car to CarMax if I didn't was to be charged a diagnostic fee, honestly I was just explaining that I did not pay one before, and she got snappy and smart mouth. My mom & I were on a cross country road trip when we stopped overnight in Tyler, TX. That night my car was taking a long time to start & then the next morning still had trouble starting. Took it in to Honest Auto Care Shop thinking something was obviously wrong. They checked it out & said everything looked great. Said I must have put some bad gas in the car & that's why it was acting up. Upon leaving the shop- took their advice & filled up my car at a reputable gas station- car started normally & was running great again. Couldn

Have had issues here over the past, looking at the times I been here the first was the best back like when they first opened & when they really cared! The Gail lady omg she never knows if they can do a simple oil change and she's always there. Today the wait was 45 minutes due to an apt ahead of me. They have a big garage but hardly no workers to help with a few people going in for auto needs. I won't be back, and they give off weird vibes while you wait. Ralph and his team at Honest-1 are very personable, thorough, and fair. I've been able to meet various members of the staff and all have been very helpful. Ralph realized that it would help me to see an issue with my car and proceeded to take me out to the shop to show me the issue. They make sure to only the do the wrk that's necessary and will provide you with an update of any work that can be deferred until later. I also love and appreciate that they will provide transportation to and from work. I've had great experiences here and will continue to give them my business

Absolutely love this place! They are all so friendly, helpful, honest, and reliable. The waiting area is nice - clean and stocked with snacks, very comfortable, I forget I'm even in an auto shop lol. I've been here several times with my car and never felt like they were doing unnecessary work, or that they were not efficient. Prices are fair, especially for the quality of service offered.

I had been meaning to take my car in before my car told me "maintenance due now" but on our way out of town, that came on.
