Auto Express was formed in 1991 and has been providing quality car care at our current location in Whitehouse, Texas, since 2003. We are a family owned business delivering honest and professional automotive repair and auto maintenance services to the people of Whitehouse, Tyler, Troup, TX and surrounding areas.
Why I chose to open a shop - I was inspired to open Auto Express in December of 2003 because I not only loved working on cars, but I desired to own a business where I treated others the way I wished to be treated. Something most people don't know about me - I believe I am doing God's will daily by running a business centered first on Christ and second on others.
No matter what the weather, we know it's hard to keep your cool when your air conditioning isn't working properly. Using your electrical system, engine, and the transference of chemicals through a heat exchanger makes these systems rather complex and. The alternator is a component that delivers electrical charge back to the battery.

I know nothing about cars and less about trucks, so they could have kept it longer and said they replaced something.

Ignoring preventative maintenance can create a love hate relationship between you and your car. Anyone who has ever owned a car or worked on a car will tell you not to ignore preventative maintenance.

I took my Chevy Duramax Turbo Diesel in for a new starter; the dreaded "click, click" was happening when turning the key. I dropped it off at 13:00 and was told they would have it diagnosed by the end of the day or next at the latest. I was not contacted the first day but 08:08 the next morning. I felt this was fair due to reviews of other shops stating customers had to wait close to a week just to get their vehicle diagnosed. I was told the total would be $696.56. This seemed high but I was getting the truck back the same day and I assumed most of the cost was the labor. If you don't know how

This is the most friendly, accommodating shop in town! I've used them for a high end brake job on my Jeep Trackhawk before, so they can work on pretty much anything. Today they earned a lifelong customer when, without an appointment, they let me put my Camaro up on a lift to install a small modification underneath. The owner ended up doing it for me, had me gone in under 10 minutes, and wouldn't let me pay! Thanks for being honest and fair guys!

My Ford Taurus water pump went out but it is not an easy fix due to the proximity of it to the motor. The first place I went to in Tyler told me the cost and basically talked me out of getting repaired. Came across Patrick and his team and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the issue. Gave me a quote it was expensive but fair, against my better judgment I tried a cheaper route using a mobile mechanic who said they could fix but turned out to be a nightmare and my car was worse than before. Went back to Patrick expecting to hear “I told you so” but not at all he made me feel better

I cant be more satisfied and relieved with the help of Auto Express! Car was making ridiculous noises, idling crazy and check engine light on. I was preparing myself to spend a lot on repairs but after Patrick and his team checked it out they were totally honest and it was an easy fix!! Totally blessed when I chose to take my car to them.
