The Vista Blue Spa is a MUST! The view is unbeatable, location is outstanding, and the atmosphere will keep you relaxed all day long. If you're booking a massage, request Crystal! I get massages in every city I visit, and hands down Crystal has been the most talented thus far. My partner also had the nicest compliments to give to Rosann! She accommodated where needed, with no issues what so ever and provided a relaxing and unforgettable massage. Both Crystal and Rosann are gems! I really enjoyed my time at this spa. I stayed in the Monterey Plaza with my mother and sister. We decided to have a spa day at the spa. The spa is located on the fifth floor of the hotel and has stunning views of the bay. Two giant hot tubs are available (and were often unoccupied) as well as complementary spa water (with orange slices) to drink and a giant stone fireplace to sit in front of. You can call in to Schooner's (the hotel's restaurant) and see if they can have lunch send up. If they aren't too busy, they will complete with a table to sit at! You can even ask for a glass

Staff were super friendly..
When I got to Monterey after 4 hours sitting in my car my body was in knots ..
Neck, back and hip pain was so bad I could barely walk straight..
my husband called the Vista Blue Spa I got the appointment for the next day..
they were fully booked but they booked me to get the 50 minutes massage..
Richard who gave me the massage he was very experienced professional very friendly..
when I walk out of there i had no pain at all..
I highly recommend to my friends and family to come here and enjoy the Vista Blue Spa

I had a deep tissue massage at Vista Blue. It was I believe thee best massage I have ever had. I love to travel, and when I travel I get a massage. And it's usually a deep tissue massage. Cini, is the therapist who did my massage, she's a tiny woman, but she has power and strength in her hands and knows how to use it. It was true deep tissue, hot towels, warm neck pillow, foot warmer. And Cini, preforming her magic! If you want to feel pampered this is your place. Enjoy

My husband and I received the couples massage package as a gift for Christmas. When we arrived, the staff was friendly, professional and very welcoming. They explained where the locker rooms were and the amenities that were available beforehand. We were given robes and slippers to lounge in. The locker room had extra amenities like basic toiletries such as lotion, toothbrushes, razors, toothpaste, combs, q-tips, towels. There are also a couple of showers and a sauna that you can use while waiting.

I booked the bubbly package for my parents for my mother's bday. The spa was very helpful and made booking this super easy.
My mom loved it. She raves about this spa every time I talk to her. She's been to the spa at the Beverly Wilshire and she continues to say that this spa topped the experience that she had at the Beverly Wilshire - hands down.

I stumbled upon this mini-paradise during my quick getaway to Monterey Bay. With its location nested at the top floor of the hotel that overlooks the scenic view of the ocean, I couldn't imagine a better spot to get a royal treatment. And since the spa treatments here also comes with the complementary access to the exclusive rooftop hot tubs, it's a perfect way for one to indulge in a luxurious relaxation experience. Wowza, this spa is everything. My boyfriend surprised me with a lavender (I'm obsessed) couples bath for our anniversary last Saturday, July 5, and it was absolutely incredible. We checked in at the spa front desk, where I fell in love with their new jackets (I ended up returning the next morning for the teal one) and we were directed to our respective locker rooms. We stowed away our belongings, and then I relaxed for a moment in the waiting area, when a woman arrived to lead my boyfriend and me to our private suite.

We had massages here with Roseann and it was worth it! I had the mother to be massage and the amenities were great. The massage table was top notch and automatically moved any part of the body and the pregnancy pillows were great. Husband had the deep tissue and he enjoyed it. We also got to enjoy the spa amenities which includes the rooftop deck jacuzzi pools with the views of the bay. The robes were super soft and they had a dry and wet sauna. The lounge was relaxing - ambient lighting with water sounds, tea and fruit water, and a variety of fruit and nuts. I would recommend this experience

All I can say is WOW! I had the 80-minute hot stone massage here the other day and it was amazing and worth every penny! The locker rooms are probably the smallest I have been to, but they are very well appointed, pleasant and very clean. The two shower stalls are spacious and provide lots of privacy because they are separate units. Also, if you wish, after your massage you can linger inside one of two hot tubs located on the outdoor deck. The open air and ocean views just add to the relaxation effect. The spa is located on Cannery Row so you can enjoy a little shopping and sight seeing before

Vista Blue Is a low key spa that provides just what you need for a bit of relaxation while you are visiting Monterey. Located on the top floor of the spa building at the Monterey Plaza Hotel, the facility has sweeping views of the bay and a very nice exercise facility and spa store.
I am giving this spa four stars instead of five, because the actual locker rooms and spa facilities are nice but not over-the-top. We were so pleasantly surprised with our massages!
I am not a big fan of having massages at the hotels, they are usually overpriced and usually very mediocre when it comes to the quality of the massages.
Luckily this place has incredible people working here and we are putting this massages in the top 5 best massages that we ever had in the US.
Girls at the reception are smiling, they are happy and really welcoming.
The whole place is perfectly clean, the temperature in the room is perfect, great music, great oils, beds that warm up ( in case you are cold)

Came here with hubs for a relaxing day. We splurged on other things so we wanted to take the budget route and book a simple couples bath without a massage so that we could take advantage of the deck amenities.
The thing that stuck out to me most was how small the spa was compared to how large the hotel property is.
2 showers, 2 sinks, and 2 restrooms per lounge, 1 small sauna, 1 small waiting area that was always full of people (on the women's side), and a small locker room.
Husband said he was the only one in the men's locker room and enjoyed having the amenities to himself.
