New Ground Home Inspections is owned and operated by home inspector and Jacksonville native Chris Haga. Chris has been performing home inspections for the greater part of a decade and has completed over 1,000 inspections for the clients he has come to see as family.

New Ground Home Inspections services start for as low as $300 and abide by the Standards of Practice (SOP) set by both InterNACHI and the state of Florida. Your inspection will entail a visual walk-through of the areas of the home which we can access safely. We use a Thermal Imaging Camera during all home inspection services at no additional charge.
Chris was very thorough and forthcoming. He explained his findings very clearly and was very personable. We will recommend him to others especially since we will be putting our house on the market shortly. Chris was punctual, thorough and informative. He completed the inspection in a timely manner and took the time to speak to my buyer at the end since she wasn't able to attend.

I relayed that information to Chris and asked him to pick the house apart and he did just that. I would like to thank New Ground Home Inspections long story short my homeowners insurance decided to go bankrupt. I needed a new inspection to get new insurance and fast. I called them and they came out within two days. The guy was super professional and just a really nice guy. He also was doggy and kid friendly which was awesome because I didn’t have to worry about locking my dog up. Made it easier on me. This is the second time that we have used New Ground Home Inspections, and these experiences have been excellent! We initially used this firm for our pre-closing inspection for a new construction home in Saint Augustine. This was an extremely thorough review, and we were highly impressed. Some of the items found truly surprised the builder.
We engaged Chris at the close of our one year warranty, and he found issues that had emerged over the year that we did not see at the closing.
