Caregivers provide a vehicle or drive a client's vehicle to appointments or social engagements. Caregivers may run errands on behalf of clients such as picking up prescriptions at the pharmacy or going to the dry cleaners. Caregivers may assist with nutritious meal planning, preparation, service, clean-up and grocery shopping.
Catalina approaches care planning as a collaboration with clients and families. As care partners and advocates, we provide a customized and coordinated experience with home care. Our expertise assists clients with a calm, caring, and organized approach to decision making. Catalina caregivers are carefully screened professionals, trained and prepared to deliver the highest quality care.

Catalina's minimum shift length is four hours for day shifts and 8 hours for night shifts. Service is available short term or ongoing, from a single four hour shift to 24/7 care. Light housekeeping is provided in home areas used by the client including kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. It can include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, changing client linens and doing laundry, taking out garbage and recycling, and tidying up.

I cannot imagine that anyone could've been more helpful, hard-working, and lovingly compassionate with my 86-year-old mother than her Catalina caregivers for the 15 months!
Here at my home, these caregivers went above and beyond to keep her comfortable and clean, and to see that she was well-fed and attended to. I can't count the hours that they both patiently engaged her in conversation, or read to her, played games with her, etc., etc.
While always, always demonstrating an exceptionally high level of professionalism, they also managed to make my mother feel like she had gained two loving friends

My wife had a bad stroke 5 1/2 years ago. We have been using Catalina for their caregiving services ever since then. I can't say enough good things about them, Sandy, my wife's main caregiver does a great job, always on time, never complains and willing to do whatever we ask her to do and always keeping Beth's welfare in mind. Allison, Danielle, Cynthia and everyone else we speak with go out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. We are very glad we called first all those years ago.

I am an RN of many years and thus require high quality of care for my patients, family, as well as for myself (if the time came I ever needed care which until this point, I had not.)
I am a new widow ( thus alone) and I was going to be having surgery. I did not want to lean on my dear friends to take care of me post op being rather independent in my nature. My surgeon recommended Catalina in Home Services. I felt I would need care post op

I’ve been working with Catalina in Home Services for almost 2 years and I love working with them because I feel like a family member of Catalina faculties. They respect their caregivers and makes sure that everyone will have money every pay day to take care of their families. Catalina is the best Agency in Tucson. There are amazing people that work at Catalina. I’ve never worked somewhere where they make you feel like you’re part of the family. They get to know their clients very well and are much into the needs of the clients and the staff. I appreciate working for this establishment and what they stand for. The nurses, schedulers , receptionist and HR people are pretty darn cool and being good to their staff means a lot in my book. Thanks to all of you at Catalina! I am about to complete my final week as a caregiver with Catalina-In Home Services. I worked for them for three years as I was completing my undergrad studies at the University of Arizona. I must say, this is the best company I have worked for as a caregiver. From the supervisors, to the RNs, to the schedulers, and HR, everyone was super nice. I have also gotten to work for amazing clients and build lasting relationships. If it wasn’t for a new job opportunity and relocation post graduating, I would not mind continuing my work with them.

I cannot speak too highly of Catalina In-Home Services. I called a number of services, cold, when my mother began to go downhill very rapidly on a weekend - no one even bothered to call me back. Then someone told me to call Catalina and help was on the way. Coordination and communication were excellent, and every single caregiver was lovely, competent and there to help. Dependable, well-trained women who spoke very well of Catalina. These are the people you want caring for your loved one.

Great place to work in Tucson if you're looking to be a caregiver. I enjoyed working there, just organized and you have a nurse on call 24/7 for questions or help with your patient. I have worked for other companies in Tucson as a caregiver and nothing compares to the Catalina. The staff is very helpful as well as the HR department. I would still be working there if I didn't get called nursing school! I highly recommend Catalina in home services!

My mom chose Catalina In Home Services because they are a local longtime business. They are a terrific company and our experience with them for over 4 years was great. Mom had a steady caregiver for that whole time and when that caregiver couldn't be there, Catalina was fantastic at making arrangements for a substitute. I'm very grateful for the help and support we received for Mom.

Catalina In-Home Services was incredible. We used them for months proving services for my mother. The caregivers were attentive, knowable, and kind and almost no turn over. The office staff was exceptional with attention to our needs and helping referring us other resources in the comunity. We would give 10 stars if we could. This is the only home care company we would recommend.
