Our restaurant opened in 2013 serving contemporary American and worldly cuisine. Tim is constantly innovating with his fiercely seasonal dinner menu, showcasing the restaurant's bonds with local farmers and purveyors. Janine's expertise and love for wine is shown by her carefully chosen wine list with close to 200 selections.
Our cocktail menu also takes inspiration from seasonal offerings. Offering three dining experiences: The Main Dining Room, Meyer's Den and The Patio (seasonal). The traditional European practice of priming stemware and decanters for proper wine service. You pour a small sip of wine into your glass, swirl it, pour it into the glass of the person next to you, and repeat before finally discarding the sample.

Services
We offer expertly curated catering, an intimate private dining space, wine pairing dinners and cooking classes. We love catering weddings, parties, or other private events for up to 100 guests in our restaurant and up to 200 guests off-site! On select Sunday & Monday evenings we host special events featuring wine and cocktail pairings with prix-fixe dinners.

We had dinner last night and we shared a beet appetizer it was a nice presentation. I had the scallops and my partner had the char fish. Both were very nice. The only problem was the selection of white wine was limited and tried a couple of different ones but like Pinot Grigio and they don't have that available. Nice dinner.

We had dinner last night at this restaurant. It is a smallish dining area and tables are relatively close together. It was a bit hard to hear my wife as with the music it is a bit loud. The menus is limited and the food good but not great. I had a hamburger which was good but overly greasy. My wife had rabbit which she liked. We will go again but there is room for improvement.

Avvino is a gem of a restaurant! Last week was my first visit, but definitely not the last. My spouse and I had the Milk and Honey 2.0 to start—the homemade focaccia with this dish was incredible, and I loved the combo of harissa and burrata. We also tried the charred octopus, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. Both mains we ordered were excellent, including the most perfectly cooked duck I’ve ever eaten. I love Avvino. Everything is excellent but my favorites are the pork chop, vegetable korma, and shrimp appetizer. The pork chop is big, juicy (which is rare for a pork chop) and cooked to perfection. Everything is unique in terms of the flavor combinations. It almost seems like fancy with an Indian flair. I love it here!!

We stopped here on a Friday night before dinner for some cocktails. Let me tell you, I am so glad we did. This has to be the best cocktail I have had in a while! Everything was fresh and taste delicious. I had The East End which is; Gin, Passion Fruit, St. Germain, Bitters, Salt. I want to go back this weekend for another. They are a little pricey at $12, but I feel like that is normal now-a-days. My husband got an old fashion. I tried it, I didn't cringe with the normal whiskey face. He said they offered him Rye or non rye bourbon he chose non. We will definitely go back, if not for food

Excellent first experience at Avvino. The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. They have an intimate dining room with dimmed lighting and candles on each table--perfect date spot! The service was impeccable. I enjoyed a glass of wine and my partner enjoyed his whiskey cocktail (I forget exactly what he ordered). The complimentary bread was warm, fresh and tasty. We tried the shrimp appetizer (which we ate before I could take a photo), the complexity of flavors was awesome. The entrees came out perfectly timed, and were delicious. Married 10/15/21 with the reception at The Wilder Room. Avvino is the exclusive caterer for The Wilder Room! Janine and her team did such a wonderful job on the menu we envisioned which included fall flavors. They helped create a customized menu of both hors d'oeuvres and the main course. We were invited to a tasting several months before at the restaurant located on Monroe Ave and the food was to die for! Portion size both at the tasting and at the wedding was more than generous!

Great meal! Got the charred octopus and coconut shrimp as an appetizer. The octopus was amazing. Meaty and tender. The coconut shrimp was crispy and deicious! For entrees we got the pork chop ans the burger. The pork chop was huge, juicy and amazing. The apple flavor with it was perfect. Brussel sprouts with it wete just as good! The burger was juicy and had a lot of flavor. Got the donut bread pudding for dessert and it is a must get! Sweet and caramelized. So good! Shout out to Jeff for cooking a great meal!

Fine dining that accommodates to kids is a rare fine. I feel like when going out to eat when you have kids these days limits you on where you can go. They either look down on you if you have kids or don't have a kids menu. If they don't have a kids menu there isn't sometimes even a menu item a kid could want to eat. I understand some people don't want to go to a restaurant where there is kids I get it. But sometimes there is no babysitter or parents don't want to go somewhere without their child. The food at Avvino is incredible. They catered our wedding on 5/22/21. We had so many guests comment on how delicious their food was. Janine made the process of choosing a menu so fun and simple. They are… willing to help you create whatever kind of culinary experience you could dream of. I LOVE Avvino. I recently dined here for a friends birthday and the atmosphere at Avvino is so lovely and perfect for a date night or a larger group. The space is fairly small and it's a popular restaurant, so definitely make a reservation. Everyone at our dinner was extremely satisfied with their meal and many people had leftovers! You HAVE to try their German chocolate cake - it's by far the best cake I've ever had in my life. I will definitely be back!

It's the wifey's birthday week so we need a table for two please. For a while now we have been talking about going to Avvino for dinner and we finally found a great reason to. As you approach the door I noticed nice wooden decor with plants on top, made me think -- fancy!
As you walk in you'll notice this restaurant is designed with dual purpose. You have the bar and stool environment on the entrance side and the dinning area in the other side pass the thick silk drapes. So if you find yourself waiting for a table, there's a great place to be patient . I highly recommend

Want to Avvino for a birthday celebration with the family. We couldn't have asked for a more adventurous, delicious and fun evening.
Service was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly and fun!
Starters included Bone Marrow, Charred Octopus and Farmers Flatbread. If I could have the Octopus as an entree I would! All were excellent.
Dinners included the Duck Breast (recommended rare) Salmon, Tuna and Filet. ALL were cooked perfectly with perfectly matched sides. I had the Duck and it was mind blowing! Perfect mix of sweet, savory and so flavorful.

I am finally writing an update after many more visits to Avinno since my initial review! My love for this restaurant has grown after each visit! This update is overdue as we had our new year's eve dinner (takeout) from here. They were right on time with the order but I think their time slots fill up quick so it's good to place your orders maybe a couple days ahead.
For appetizer we got the roasted eggplant romesco. This was so delicious and packed full of flavor. It was pretty much like a hummus and came with lots of pita bread. The romesco was tangy but still had the flavors of eggplant

Went out for our anniversary dinner on Friday evening. Awesome experience. Waitress was very attentive. Great martinis. For appetizers, we had the charred octopus which was very tender, also the baked beet with goat cheese. Then had the salmon entree and the scallop special. Followed up with a berry tart. Portions were very good size. Everything was delicious, very unique and gourmet. Highly recommend it.
