I reached out to David several months ago to help me review a poorly written real estate contract. He reviewed the old contract, drafted a new one, helped me establish the history of the title ownership, gave me solid advice via email and a phone call. He did all of this in a timely manner to ensure I was able to close on the property quickly and with minimal fees from David. I recently reached out again in regards to some property I inherited. I worked with David to purchase a new home. As a first time home buyer, I was a bit wary of skipping the real estate agent and working with an attorney instead, but I'm so glad I made that choice! David's fees are very reasonable and eliminating the need for the seller to pay my agent's commission allowed me to put in a much more competitive offer. We were confident that he knew the law, and had done this many times before. We had a couple special situations that David addressed well too. Really grateful to David for a concise and transparent explanation of the options available and liabilities my LLC faced in a transaction dispute.
When I called David, I'd spoken to one other lawyer who was eager to get a retainer... This is how lawyers should all be! We were looking to sell our house FSBO (for sale by owner) in Lakewood. I had never done it before, so I not only needed a competent real estate attorney, but also someone that was willing to answer some fairly basic questions and walk me through how everything works.
