Extremely unprofessional practice due to their inability to adhere to their own deadlines and incorrect information posted on their website.
They say on the contact form they will call you within 24 hours after you complete the form. I didn’t hear anything for a week and finally called them, only to be told they aren’t actually offering EMDR right now (June 2021) due to covid. The pandemic has been happening for over a year and they didn’t bother to update their website (or potential patients inquiring about services) to reflect their current practices. Advertising services that aren’t

I am so grateful to have been with New Leaf Behavioral Health (NLBH) for my practicum and internship experience. NLBH has a well-developed intern program that facilitates the application of educational knowledge to the clinical setting with ease, while working with clients from diverse backgrounds. With NLBH, I was able to fully immerse myself into the clinical experience without doubt or hesitation. Dava and Patrick are both extraordinary directors and supervisors that are thoughtful and encouraging. My time with NLBH has been invaluable and I am truly grateful to have had this opportunity. I

New Leaf provides an enriching experience for college students in the Triangle Area. Volunteering has given me great insight to the clinical field. I would recommend New Leaf to anyone interested in gaining exposure to what it is like to work in a therapist office, non-profit, or any behavioral health profession.

I attempted to schedule an appointment, and unfortunately, I found it unusually difficult to convey an understanding of the nature of my symptoms, their frequency, or their effect on my life. I have never experienced this difficulty before when scheduling health related appointments and was very surprised at my difficulty in making myself understood. Also, the lack of appointment availability made it impossible for me to schedule an appointment. Because of these reasons, I will be taking my business and my health needs elsewhere.

I have worked for New Leaf as an In-Home therapist for 6 months now. It has been a very positive experience for me overall. I feel the organization is very well run and committed to providing quality service for all of their clients. I feel personally I have grown a great deal from working with the leadership of this organization. I've truly had nothing but positive dealings with all of the leadership team and support staff. I'm grateful for the experience of working at New Leaf and hope that more individuals have the opportunity to utilize the wonderful services they provide.
