This place is a GEM and will be our go to place to stay any time we are in Waikiki in the future. The hotel has a calming vibe, the rooms are very modern and recently renovated and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved having breakfast every morning at the restaurant downstairs and the fresh baked pastries were DELICOUS as was the fresh squeezed juices available each morning. The hotel is tucked away enough that it is quiet at night and you don't get the influx of tourists just wandering through but you are just steps away from all the restaurants and shops. I've only been here for two hours and I can already say I love this place. The staff go above an beyond. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours on Christmas Eve and the entire day so many things went wrong. Our check in was extremely late and this hotel was the one thing that redeemed the entire day. So many beautiful details are included in the rooms. I wish we were staying here longer than three nights. HIGHLY recommend!!

Highly recommend this hotel! Our room was very quiet with comfortable beds and a modern, clean look. Like a true Japanese hotel, it had a Toto bidet toilet and every travel size item you'd need. The location was central to the main Waikiki strip but tucked away enough so you felt away from the bustle. Don't hesitate, book yourself here!!

My husband and I just had the best time at Halepuna. The staff made us feel like family and were so welcoming and friendly the entire time. A special thank you to Ryan, Keiko and Debbie at the front desk and Hermie at valet for making our stay extra special and going the extra mile. We look forward to coming back and highly recommend this hotel to couples and families. To start off, I don’t think I can say enough good things about Halepuna. Their staff, service, and hotel are just beyond exceptional. My husband and I stayed there for 7 days for our honeymoon and we felt that we were treated like family. We were gifted a bottle of champagne, reusable water bottles, and had the cutest welcome decor set up in our room for the honeymoon stay. When asked, they also accommodated a small, cute surprise for my husband’s birthday which was on day 2 of our stay. Absolutely LOVED my stay at Halepuna! The staff were so helpful and kind. The hotel was gorgeous, clean and just overall amazing. It was so peaceful walking in after a long day to how beautiful this place was. They even provide stainless steel water bottles to use instead of plastic ones. I appreciate the eco friendly aspect and water refilling stations.

We had a 4-nights stay at Halepuna and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Wendy was so helpful and kindly upgraded us to an ocean-view room which was absolutely stunning. Everything in the room was so clean, beautiful and high-tech, and their lobby was just like an art gallery. Their breakfast was also delicious and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch and I couldn’t find any fault, even a tiny one. My only regret was that I couldn’t visit their bakery more than once due to it being closed on Monday and Tuesday. Their cream pan was really something to die for 😋

The hotel is amazing! My husband and I stayed there for 8 nights and I can tell that nothing disappointed us. Staff are the most kind ones, the food is spotless, and cleaning and valet staff are awesome. Every time I returned to the hotel, I got this feeling that I arrived in a spa, a very calm atmosphere (very different/rare compared to other hotels in the area) that brings peace immediately. The pool is also great, I just wished they had a complete food & drinks service which was not possible due to the pandemic. I will definitely go back soon!

We loved our stay at the Halepuna!! The hotel and rooms are just beautiful! I could tell it was very newly renovated. The staff was absolutely wonderful from the door man, to the front desk, the maid service, and the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and so convenient, we could get a hot meal to go or stay and eat in the restaurant. The juice was was all fresh squeezed and so delicious! They have water refill stations which I liked, and they provide each guest with a nice, aluminum water bottle. The location was perfect, shopping and dining were a stones throw away and the pool looks out
