A cataract is a common condition that causes a clouding of the eye's natural lens, and affects millions of people each year, including more than half of all Americans over the age of 65. Cloudiness develops as a result of a buildup of protein in the lens. Cataracts cause a progressive, painless loss of vision.

Iritis is an inflammation of the iris, which is the colored portion of the eye. The iris is part of the uvea, highly vascular fibrous tissue. This condition frequently manifests in young to middle-aged individuals and may only affect one eye. Iritis may be caused by trauma to the eye, an infection, or the effects of certain diseases.

I believed my eyes were in need of adjusting. Things seemed blurry at times. After reaching out to LasikPlus I was relieved to find out they had all my information still on file, including my payment for free adjustments. I received Lasik in 2006 and the need to go to an eye doctor has not been there so it makes sense to get them rechecked before going to LasikPlus again. Apple maps pointed me to The Eye Clinic which is inside Providence Hospital. The staff was extremely nice. The office was extremely comfortable. The exam seemed so less tedious than I remember eye exams being. Oh, the best part

I had an outstanding experience with cataract surgery at the Eye Clinic with Dr. Wilkins. The nursing staff is excellent and deserve a raise for the superior care they give before and after every procedure. And it was fabulous to have Brian, a licensed anesthesiologist, attending during the procedure. It gave me great peace of mind to know that he was focusing on preventing any pain and anxieties while Dr. Wilkins focused on the cataract procedure. Everyone involved did a superior job!

I was greeted by Penny at the reception with a smile. Once I was called in it was A pleasant assistant name Kate who guided me through the preliminary protocol and Eye checks and questions before seeing Dr. Samples. Once Dr. Samples, came in he was professional as always and served the usual friendly greeting and personal inquiry. The visit with Dr. Samples, was efficient and took no more than 25 minutes. Checking out was easy as well as Pam provided me with a follow up appointment at a reasonable time. I have been coming to the Eye Clinic p.c. for at least six years and never disappointed with

Truly 5 star experience. I saw Dr.Wilkins, he was awesome!!! He diagnosed the eye infection immediately. Apparently it happens to many people during this time because of breathing directly to the eyes through the mask! He explained all the symptoms and why I had them. After few use of drops he prescribed, my eyes are much better, opened up and beautiful again. I’ve found my eye doctor for the rest of my life.
Kate was nice and supportive as well.
All places I’ve been before this clinic tried to sell me reading glasses or 0.25 glasses but not here which I really appreciate.

The Eye Clinic is very professional in all aspects. The ladies at the front desk are there to help you and are very kind and polite. The techs are very thorough in what they do. Also very polite. Dr. Wilcox is the best. He talks to you and listens to you. He always helps you with anything you need. I would recommend The Eye Clinic to everyone.

I would not return to Dr. Wilkins and The Eye Clinic. Following my cataract surgery, I was plagued with many problems. I was told the reason my vision was not sharp was because my eyes were swollen and irritated and I was told to purchase various OTC eye drops. Each one irritated my eyes even more. After spending about $50 I quit. I was also told to put my new glasses on immediately in the morning, this resulted in a slight improvement which soon vanished. Finally, I reached the point where I could not read the big green signs on the freeway as I passed under them if I closed one eye.
