Founded in 1964, West Anaheim Medical Center is a 219-bed acute-care hospital dedicated to providing the community with high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. I appreciated how fast I was seen but I wasn’t given the time or space to calm down from my panic attack to properly communicate with the staff. Everyone seemed to have good intentions but out of the multiple staff members I encountered only one or two made me feel safe enough to be able to calm down and respond coherently.

Bad doctor and nurses.. check in @9PM . CHECK OUT @ 2:30AM. Met the doctor for 3 min after 1 hour waiting. She said will take a look at the xray and get back to me. She never did. 2 hours later, I asked the nurse and being told the doctos order swab tests for Covid and Flu. I was told by the nurse that it will take an hour for the test results. I waited patiently on the chair. 1 hours, then 2 hours has passed…. I asked the nurse how much longer should I wait before seeing the doctor. She angrily said don’t. take her words again her since my test results are not ready.

My experience was wonderful. The receptionist have complete empathy. They felt my pain and didn’t just send me out of my way to the next dentist. The really tried to find room for me to get treated. The Dentist, was very articulate and well mannered. Gives you full briefings with no get rich schemes. I felt very much taken care of then when it was all over I cried a bit. I’m a grown man with a now extracted abscess tooth. Thanks to the empathetic nature of these people who work here. I wish I remembered their names, but I’ll never forget their faces. We’ll done guys. It was insanity unsanitary. Including a homeless person spitting on the floor and not wearing a mask and she hysterically coughed without covering her mouth. Also, the nurses and staff were completely unprofessional. They also asked for unnecessary and invasive testing to charge up my insurance. Had to call my doctors office to confirm it was completely unnecessary (which it was).

Unfortunately I got sick while visiting Anaheim—food poisoning or a stomach bug that resulted in me being somewhat dehydrated and also caused me to faint and hit my head after dealing with stomach cramping and standing up too fast. The doctor, nurses and staff were all caring and attentive. I really appreciate the focus they gave me, especially since they were experiencing a busy night/early morning with several other patients.

Everyone at the center are very helpful, caring and kind. I took my mom when she had a sever sciatic pain. At the gate she was immediately offered a wheelchair, the paperwork was done quickly and within few minutes she was attended by a doctor. Even with the COVID crisis everyone was so kind, caring and attentive. Thank you everyone!
