Summer House

I have to start by saying that the service was terrific and would go back just to know that I would be taken so well care of. The signature drinks that I had were nothing special but the dirty martini was off the charts, only missing a blue cheese olive. I had a portobello sandwich that was overly tough and had too much balsamic. Would go again but would probably not be my first choice.

Summer house was always our favorite restaurants. But tonight I thought it was horrible. The waitress said the Orange Crush was fantastic. Wrong! It was alcohol with some orange juice. Not good at all. We went in there for Saturday night Prime Rib. Wrong! That’s been changed. Spouse said rack of ribs were good. I got scallops with fettuccine. Disgusting. They put some sweet sauce on the noodles. Horrible! Scallops were ok. But after tasting the sweet pasta I lost my taste.
Should come back for Prime Rib. Hopefully they won’t mess up on that. Will let you know!!

We love Summer House - it is a beach institution. The food is good to great and the staff are friendly. We spend many weeks throughout the year going to Rehoboth and this is a guaranteed crowd pleaser!

Tuesday Night is Steak Night.
$19.99 for a 5oz petite filet w/2sides.
It is small, but perfect size for me.
It was cook exactly to my rare request.
Service was very good, too.
Definitely going back.

Loved the Summer House Salad with grilled shrimp. I saw mixed reviews so wasn't expecting much, but my husband and I enjoyed dinner very much. The salad had a lot of extras in it, plus the dressing is fabulous. My husband had fried shrimp and enjoyed it. Apple slaw side was great. Service was slightly slow but pleasant.

I think the reviews must really depend on what was ordered or what expectations were going in. I had googled best burger in Rehoboth. On a scale of 1-10 my son rated the burger a 6! He was just a little disappointed in the “best burger in Rehoboth”
I had fish tacos and wedge salad. Both were tasty though the fish tacos could have had more fish filling.
Overall good, but not great.

Do you want my honest opinion? It was my first time visiting rehoboth and I didn’t know what to expect. This restaurant has the best cocktails, best service and not to mention best food. I am so pleased with this establishment and I will definitely be back here again. Give Maddie a raise! Such a doll!

Out of this world experience. Looked up the best Prime Rib in Rehoboth and Summer House was number one. They do a special for Prime Rib on Thursdays and it just happened to be Thirsday when I went!
Service was great and all my special demands were ment. From half and half lemonade/tea to extra sauces and dressing for my delicious wedge salad. Waitress I had was very happy with getting me what I needed and even had another waitress help me with a drink when they saw it was low from afar.

Disappointed for the first time at Summer House. Had the prime Rib Special. Have had it in the past and it was good. Tonight, the piece of meat was tough and flavorless . Server was fairly inattentive and seemed bothered to be there. No staff member was friendly or seemed happy to be there. If a manager was present, they were not visible. My spouse enjoyed her seafood meal, so that was positive. For $36, a prime rib dinner should be memorable. Hope they can get back on track.

Stopped in for lunch after riding our bikes from
the ferry. Beer was ice cold and burger was delicious. Service was nice and friendly. Good atmosphere as well. Would definitely go back
