Biofeedback is a skills-based training technique used to teach individuals how to control their body's reaction to stress. Specifically, biofeedback is a process that enables an individual to learn how to change physiological activity for the purposes of improving health and performance.
High tech instruments measure physiological activity such as heart rate, breathing, muscle tension, skin temperature, and galvanic skin response (sweat gland activity).Information on these measures are provided via a visual display as "feedback" to the individual, allowing a person to better understand the changes that occur during stress and learn how to regulate these functions to manage or abate the negative effects of stress.

I had such a wonderful experience with Linda following a painful injury where I developed CRPS. She taught me to calm my nervous system which allowed me to manage my sleep, mood, pain, and digestion. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and compassionate. Her office is absolutely lovely and the view is spectacular. If you have chronic pain and anxiety I highly recommend biofeedback here! I felt like she cared about my well-being and wanted to be to succeed. She helped improve my quality of life! Biofeedback is a tool that we could all use in our toolbox!
