Our inspections actually begin when we are driving down the road to your home observing other homes and the lay of the land and potential issues related to area drainage that could cause your homes property to be the wettest in the area sitting in a bowl situation or being on a hill half way down which can lead to excessive water pressures against foundation walls and soil failures.
We can never get out of any home and not write up at least 45-70 items needing attention. And trust me, you better know all these issues or they will become larger repairs in the future. Some are major issues now, every house has them, many are maintenance needs overlooked by the builder, the buyer and/or the Home Inspector.

Kenny was very detailed, knowledgeable, and honest. He's a straight shooter and realtors really try to work against him which should tell you everything you need to know. I have hired Kenny for multiple home inspections and will continue to use him in the future as well. If you want a great home inspection from a guy that won't miss anything this is your guy and I would highly recommend.

Kenny came recommended to me for a home inspection I had recently and was told he was the best. Impressed with response time and professionalism and he answered the questions I had thoroughly. I would highly recommend anyone buying a house to use Commonwealth Home Inspections before purchasing their home. Kenny is completely thorough in his inspection. He explained and documented with pictures every issue/potential issue there was with the home we were purchasing. He informed us which issues were safety hazards, which were costly and would cause greater problems if not fixed, and which were minor issues we could get fixed later. I was lucky to get a recommendation to call Kenny while in the process of purchasing my first home. He answered right away and was able to give me a quote that was more than reasonable for the quality of his inspection.
