Ahoova and Abraham (Avie) Mishael founded Mishael's Electrolysis Center in 1984 in Atlanta Georgia. Ahoova is a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) who also trains the electrologists and manages the office while Avie manages the business. When they founded the company, Avie was a graduate student at Georgia Tech, where he earned a Master of Architecture degree and Ahoova was a part-time teacher and did electrolysis part-time.
At Mishael's Electrolysis Center, LLC, we offer the best services and results that come from over 45 combined years of electrolysis experience. We treat men, women, and teenagers and we specialize in the treatment of African Americans and transgender individuals. We also offer pre-surgery electrolysis treatments for transgender individuals.
A fine filament is inserted along the side of the hair follicle and you shouldn't feel it. Proper insertions do not penetrate your skin when done correctly. Current is applied to the filament and that's the only part of the treatment you should feel. The current can be adjusted to keep you comfortable.
Did you know that the FDA says the laser only provides "permanent hair reduction"? According to the American Electrology Associatioin (AEA), Laser promoters compare laser to electrolysis, although laser assisted hair removal is considered a temporary method. It has not been evaluated for long-term safety of the patient's skin and health.
It is normal for the skin to be slightly red and swollen after electrolysis treatments. These conditions usually disappear in an hour or two but may last longer. It's important to avoid any activity that would subject the treated skin to irritating conditions while it is in the healing stage. The following post treatment care should be followed for the first 24 to 48 hours depending on the area treated.

I absolutely adore mishael’s electrolysis center! It’s always such a wonderful Atmosphere and environment to be in. The staff is so immersive and attentive and they truly do make it their mission to provide you care and compassion throughout the whole process. Shelley is amazing!!! And such a joy, she’s been my electrolysis person! The whole way threw and she’s great I definitely recommend you ask for her when you go! Ahoova is amazing as well and extremely understanding and accommodating! I highly recommend coming here! 💜💜💜💜

The staff is so nice and welcoming and walk you through every details of the procedure. They really care about their patients and you feel confident that they know what they are doing. As someone with sensitive skin, my redness only lasts a couple hours! Highly recommend for your electrolysis needs!

Not to be dramatic, but this place changed my life. After years of struggling with laser and not seeing results, I found this place and within a year I saw the permanent results they promised. My skin hasn’t been this smooth since I was 11. Huge thanks to Heidi for being an incredible technician and sweet as always! Ahoova and her team have been accommodating from the start and they always make sure I leave with no questions unanswered (and I asked A LOT of questions in the beginning). This was absolutely worth the investment.

Today was my second visit and I honestly can say...why did I wait so long???
The customer service here is off the charts amazing! I see Heidi and she is such a kind and caring person. She explains everything and is so thorough. I can't wait to see the final results. I waited until I had a few visits before leaving a review. On my first visit the owner did my consultation and told me her story and how she got here and that was amazing. This place has the most amazing customer service and best of all the hair removal is PERMANENT. It hurts (a lot) I’m not going to lie; but they do everything they can to ease the pain. These people know everything about hair growth and removal. Laser didn’t work for me but this did and I’m forever grateful. Also, the price is reasonable. Ask for Heidi!

OMG! This place is so great. Today was my first day here and I can't believe how nice everyone was. Heidi was my technician and let me tell you that she has spoiled me we her kindness and charm not to mention her work and how much she accomplished in just an hour. Love you guys and can't wait to come back.
