The apartment’s location is amazing. Close by the beach, pharmacies, malls, restaurants, schools and everything you need! It is Modern, renovated, clean, and very well maintained as well as the pools, barbecue area, parking lot, and gym. The leasing office staff is awesome! Sasha and Yazmin are very polite and super diligent. They do their best to keep the condominium organized. Furthermore, the neighborhood is friendly and quite. I would really recommend Essex Heights

There is NO visitor parking which is insane. To top it off, they tow cars with no warning. My neighbor’s boyfriend and I both had cars towed today and management is rude and unprofessional. In addition, the laundry facilities (washers especially) are disgusting and smell horrible. The maintenance crew is constantly around making a ton of noise, talking loudly in the morning outside your window. And the music and kids running around screaming at the pool etc is beyond annoying. Would’ve never moved in had I known all of this!

Yes, these negative reviews are 100% VALIDf. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
First of all, I've gotten many calls/voicemails saying they don't have anywhere in their system that I signed a lease.. which I did. This office is extremely unorganized and I will not sign another lease when I have proof that I already signed it after 6 months of living here.
Second, there is no extra or guest parking anymore. You are only given 1 assigned parking so if you live with your significant other.. forget about it. We were never told the first come first serve parking would be taken away from

I just wanted to leave a review as more of a thank you to Yasmin Ortiz who works at the leasing office for Essex Heights. My wife and I have been shopping around and calling all over the area and Yasmin has been nothing but helpful from the start.
From our dates shifting all around multiple times, to unnecessary difficulties with the initial payment, western unions fault not Essex heights, we were having trouble constantly throughout the process. Trying to move across the country on a rather short notice is already stressful enough and normally coordinating a new lease would be as well, but not

Hi, I'm Laurie and I've called Essex heights "home" for almost 12
years, the longest I've ever stayed in one place and it's easy to see why. First it's the best location in town, right in the middle of popular Encinitas. On one side is the fun downtown area and great beaches, all of 7 minutes away and on the other side are my favorite shops and stores also 7 minutes away. To add to the convenience, the major freeway 5 is just around the corner. Another big plus is the fact that Essex Heights is incredibly quiet and safe due to the watchful eye and super professional yet warm and friendly manager

I responded to a 1BR ad posted on craigslist at $1,200. They told me call Friday we will have an apartment for showing then. I did as I was told and spoke with Myra. So disappointed in her lack of professionalism, basically she said you should of called yesterday because I had a vacancy and showed the place to applicants and now i have a really promising applicant and the next availability is not until July 7th I dont have anything to show you right now. I get that but where is the solution? I tried several times asking how do i know when you will have an apartment for showing, how do I get the
