This apartment complex is truly lovely. The management is friendly as are all the residents we met while living there. The amenities are beautiful and the grounds are well kept. It feels like a resort. It’s also quiet and peaceful. The location doesn’t get much better - about a 20 min walk to the Belly Up and the beach. My ONLY gripe, and this is a weird one, was the water quality in the apartment. The water from the sinks smelled, the toilet would develop this black mold-like residue every couple of days, and the shower water made my hair feel terrible. After living there for over a year,

Terrible management.. I predict bug infestations and looking a shambles based on cheap build and poor upkeep. Pool furniture is barely a year old (it was 6 months before it was put in) and they are heavily stained and dirty all the time. Frequently non-working facilities. Maintenance is great, but do you want to pay top dollar to have maintenance visit multiple times per month or do you want to live in peace and relax when you have spare time? Hot tub is loud because it was improperly installed and the only time they fixed the jets (only one was working for nearly a year), was when a child pooped

Solana Mar was a great place to live with a seamless management change that made the homely environment even better. Bri in the leasing office is phenomenal for any question, problems or concerns. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and the property is always in great condition. Great location to the highway and the beach :)

When I walked into the leasing office at Solana Mar I was immediately impressed with the welcome I received. Before I even toured the property I was sold. The leasing manager is warm and friendly and made me feel at home. She was able to answer all my questions about Solana Mar and Solana Beach. This was followed up with the tour of the apartment complex, and the grounds. If you want to live in a community with great people, beautiful amenities, well manicured grounds, and state of the art apartments Solana Mar is the location for you.

My pup and I have called Solana Mar home for almost two years, and we definitely plan on staying. My unit was brand new when I moved in and just so perfect. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained by Janine (she loves her job...so cute!) and the amenities are top notch (super well-equipped gym with roll up garage door, immaculate pool, and clubhouse). Bree, in the office, is the absolute sweetest, so friendly and helpful, and so competent. RJ, the maintenance supervisor, is also amazing. He's so willing to help with whatever is needed, even with my car...he's the best! With all

We have recently moved into an apartment at Solana Mar. The management team has been amazing. Brie and R.J. have gone far above and beyond what should be expected of them. Because of our health issues, we needed some extra equipment installed, and it was done immediately. I cannot say enough good things about them. We greatly appreciate their assistance.

I am not a resident at Solana Mar but I recently encountered an issue with parking and management. I was towed in a guest parking spot, where I have been parking (sometimes overnight) for the last year. When I went to speak with the management, I found it extremely difficult to get hold of them. They returned none of my calls, their office was closed when I left work early to speak with them despite the office hours that are posted online, and finally they informed me I had no chance at getting my money back and that it "happens all the time." NOWHERE on this property is there signage informing

Living at Solana Mar is a mix.
The location is great! There are great breezes and the remodel that was done was great. The units are quite small and there is no storage, but they are fine- it's an apartment.
The main complaint is the stress and anxiety of living here and the constant threatening notes that the Property Manager, Amanda, leaves on doors.
She has lost the "Service" part of Customer Service- if she ever had it.
There is no conversation- just a list of things that everyone must comply with or else.
This is not "Luxury", as these apartments are advertised. They

The apartments are all brand new and super charming, with modern fixtures, barn doors on closets, stainless steel appliances, etc. Upstairs units have vaulted ceilings. AC & ceiling fans have been great this summer. The gym, pool & clubhouse (fire-pit, TVs, pool table, WiFi) are all new, clean and modern/chic. Landscaping is always pristine. I proudly tour all of my guests who visit around the property.

Awesome place to live. Everyone is very friendly. This is one of the only places that I have lived in California that the neighbors become really good friends. Most everything is within walking distance if you do not feel like driving, and the beach is only one mile away. As far as I am concerned, this is probably the best apartment that I have ever lived in. I plan on staying here for a long time.

The renovated units are beautiful. It was so nice to move into a place that is brand new. They did an excellent job on the design. The complex has easy freeway access; and lots of shopping. You can easily walk to Sprouts, CVS, Staples, Starbucks, Panera Bread, and much more.
The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I made the right decision to move here.

Recently moved into this property which reopened this year after renovating all of their units. The property is beautiful and the staff are very attentive and extremely helpful. My fiancée and I had been looking everywhere for an apartment community that had all of the features we were looking for and was close to both our jobs.
