An adult preventive health exam is an appointment that provides preventive services, counseling, education, and disease screening based on your age and gender. It is sometimes referred to as an annual exam, yearly checkup, or physical. Medication review (bring along all prescribed and over the counter medications/supplements).
Once you are enrolled in Medicare, you are eligible to receive a Welcome to Medicare Wellness visit within the first 12 months. The goals of this visit are health promotion and screening. Inform the office when scheduling this appointment that this is your Welcome to Medicare visit to ensure proper billing.
At Richfield Medical Group we help our patients overcome barriers to self-care and take ownership of their treatment with our Management Services. A diagnosis, evaluation, and management of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary heart disease, COPD, and asthma.
MTM allows patients to meet with a specially trained pharmacist to review all of the medications that a patient is currently taking to ensure that they are indicated, effective, safe, convenient, and cost-effective.When you're struggling with your physical health, making healthcare decisions can be overwhelming.

Our clinicians are trained in the evaluation of skin lesions, preventive mole screening, and growths. Further, they can do skin biopsies and minor excisions to evaluate these problems. Your clinician will perform a thorough skin evaluation at the time of your regularly scheduled annual preventive health care examination.

Dr. Brockway was a godsend to me and my kids. I think about what a great human being he is. Dr. Nelson has been there since Dr. Brockway retired and has ALWAYS BEEN THERE for me through many health and life problems. I recently saw Dr Golden. Very professional, personable and thorough. Easy to talk to and discuss my needs and concerns. I saw Ashley once and she was great also and thorough.
The business office has always been there to help with any question. You won't find a better clinic around. The tops!

I have been going to Richfield Medical Group since 1993 when I moved to Richfield. I love that their focus is on the patient -not time management like so many bigger clinics. Dr. Kevin Nelson has been my main doctor, but I have enjoyed care from all of the doctors over the years. I recently met with Dr. Golden, new to the organization, and he was extremely pleasant and helpful. I have a somewhat complicated health history and the entire staff have been nothing short of excellent in managing my care and needs, including urgent needs whether it is for a recheck, coordination with another medical

I have been with this clinic my entire life. I have received care primarily from Dr. Nelson and I just love him! He is personable, thorough and genuinely cares about my health. These health care professionals really care about you and your well being. It's a small place geared toward health care, not a patient conveyor belt. Dr. Nelson has been our family's GP going on decades, now and we couldn't be happier. All members of the team here are great from the front desk, nursing, PAs to doctors. I definitely recommend Richfield Medical Clinic
