What I really liked about Dumont is that when you walk inside it smells so fresh and clean. The staff is friendly and is always ready to help you with everything. When I go to visit my mom, she always looks so clean and happy. I feel comfortable that she is there in a safe and beautiful facility. I give this facility a 5 Star in every level. Thank you to the Dumont Staff for taking amazing care of mom!

Dumont Center is the place to be if you want your loved ones being taken care of. The staff is very attentive of the patient’s needs. They make time in communicating with the patient’s family during visits. The social worker is also very helpful and gracious. Same with the Director of Recreation, whose very accomodating and efficient when it comes to visits and other matters.

The Dumont has an inviting atmosphere about it. The staff are welcoming and always willing to assist visitors, and especially the residents. There are no hassels, even in this pandamic time. The administrators actually greet you warmly when you encounter them in the hallways. And they don't even know you. It gives me a good feeling everytime i've visited. Keep up great customer care you provide.

PEOPLE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILITY -- My brother was a patient at Dumont Center. He was scheduled for a defibrillator implantation procedure at Montefiore Hospital. The ENTIRE staff at Dumont was very aware that this was an overnight procedure at the hospital. When the social worker from Montefiore Hospital called to transport my brother back to the rehab facility, she was advised that they had no bed for him. ARE YOU SERIOUS? All his belongings were left in his room, he did not receive a discharge from his doctor at the facility, and they gave away his bed knowing he is scheduled

Very nice professional quiet facility the only thing I wish they had was extended hours for visitors or 24-hour visitation because of my work schedule. My mother likes the food and her Rehabilitation is going well. I do recommend that anybody with loved ones in this facility or any facility to visit them regularly even if it's only for 10 minutes it means a lot to your loved ones. I would recommend this facility parking is easy on site and they have a public bus that stops right in front of the facility very convenient
