Girls weekend , this was the last stop for dinner and it was super good. The oysters were amazing. My alligator po boy had so much meat it was super good. Was not a fan of the fries or the daiquiri. It was very sweet. I did love our bartender she was super sweet and nice . My friend has been here before and she wanted to share this experience with me which I'm glad because it was fun

The vibe is pleasant, the staff is lovely, and the food is to *die* for. Went with a group and over-ordered-- the house oysters are delicious (and the only thing I managed to finish), the blackened duck and two sides, and the extra side of fettucine alfredo came home with us and made for two more meals. Had a local beer on the side. We were there in December and the experience of enjoying a lovely meal in a well-appointed outdoor courtyard when back East it was snowing only added to the evening. Looking forward to my next visit!

The manager of this restaurant is on top of making sure his customers are happy.
We ordered takeout. When we got back to hotel, we noticed an order was missing. The manager made sure we got our full order and had it delivered. The delivery guy was nice and apologetic (even though it wasn't his fault.)
The gumbo was so good, veggies yummy...

We were in New Orleans on a Sunday evening (cruise was next day). Went walking up Bourbon, looking at restaurants. Many were 1/4 full or less (it was a Sunday night after all). But this one was mostly full. Always a good sign.
Had Justin as our server. Excellent service. Very attentive, but not overbearing. One of our entrees was cold when it was brought to the table, Justin immediately took it back, and had a new one made. Mistakes happen, it is how you handle them that makes the difference, and Justin handled it perfectly. Of course this also speaks for

Absolutely trash. I don't understand how this place is so highly rated. The only thing I was impressed with was our waiter. He made our unpleasant experience bearable.
My daughter ordered shrimp pasta and was brought chicken pasta which she sent back. The chicken pasta was chicken fingers cut up in strips and placed in pasta. Our waiter offered to replace it with the correct item and my daughter declined.
My charbroiled oysters were cold. They tasted like the oysters were raw, they placed the topping in the microwave and then put them on top of the oysters.

Came here on the recommendation of our tour guide and boy was I glad that I did! They have an extensive menu of many creole and cajun favorites, but it was no contest for me, from the moment the tour guide mentioned his favorite dish, the blackened redfish etouffee I knew that was the dish for me. Wow! This dish was spicy and flavorful, a perfect combination of the spicy blackened redfish and the creamy crawfish etouffee.

This is a cool restaurant located off of Bourbon Street. There was little to no wait time at the door. Just make sure to tell the hostess that you are on the VIP list . There really isn't any parking so you will most likely have to walk.
We ordered the Mardi Gras pasta, crab cakes,
oysters, and seafood gumbo. The highlight would have to be the crab cakes. Probably the best crab cakes I've had in some time. The gumbo was ok but could have used a little more Cajun flavor and seafood. The oysters were good but also nothing spectacular.

The hotel I'm staying at suggested Oceana for breakfast or lunch and it has tons of great reviews, so naturally it's where I wandered into for brunch this morning. It's tucked right around the corner from Bourbon street so it's in a main area, although parking really stinks in French Quarter so good luck finding a spot.

Apparently this place can get busy as when we were leaving there was a queue outside. We dined around 7ish and there was no queue so avoided the rush I guess
Just the Mrs and I came here to get some oysters and po boys. We also ordered Cajun fries which were the highlight of our meal. The oysters were fine. Good but not great. The Po boy was a bit in the dry side. I wish they had put more sauce. The blackened chicken that generously filled the loaf of bread was delicious, just needed more sauce. First of all the server was amazing. Great smile and a warm welcome.
We had Parmesan Oysters and Vegetarian pasta. I have been searching for charred or baked oysters, I found them here and they were too good.
Vegetarian pasta is more creamy and buttery (too much) but the taste and texture was good.
For desserts, we got the bread pudding! It was yum but so filling that we could not finish it. Haha!

It looks small from the outside but it is spacious. Service is very fast, staffs are friendly and helpful.
Their food is absolutely tasty! We ordered Blackened Catfish plate and Oceana Chargrilled Oysters. There are lots of options that you can choose from, and all of them look amazing.
I highly recommended this place for seafood. They also open very late so you can stop by for some late night food.

Oh my food!
We chose Oceana because of the big menu. My dad wanted a poboy and the rest of us were open.
The food and service were top notch! I had the chicken and sausage gumbo to start it was delicious! We also had red beans and rice, ribs, shrimp poboy, pasta.. our table was full of so much food!
When the server came over and told us to unroll our silverware and my daughter won a free drink or dessert of course she had the drink, duh!
Check in here and get 10% off your meal and just smile and feel the New Orleans love when your server calls ya "baby"

This place was recommended to us so we went here our first night in town. There is a long line so prepare yourself for that. Once we got in, it took a while for the server to come over and take our drink order. My boyfriend got his drink right away. I waited 20 minutes before asking where mine was. I ordered the chicken gumbo and was given seafood gumbo. I might have had way too high of expectations of this place since the reviews were so good. They are on Applebee’s/Olive Garden level at best.

There's always a line to get in! But it moved fast, and now I know why, the service and food are great!
We came for breakfast, Latricia was our waitress and she was GREAT! actually everyone that works here is amazing, once you enter everyone says hello to you, I'm so not use to that!
Latricia made sure my coffee was always filled which is great because I'm very cranky without it.

If you’re looking for a great atmosphere with excellent service and food then look no further.
I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. To begin, the atmosphere was great, the service is hands down the best and the food was excellent.
Our waiter was very attentive to the point to where I went to take the final sip of my drink and my cup was in the hands of our waiter who was on his way back from refilling. I didn’t even see him grab it.
The food was out of this world. I had the Cajun pasta and the only thing that was wrong was that I couldn’t finish it all. It was loaded

I will be craving their chicken Alfredo for the rest of my life. They were the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived in NOLA, just based on the volume of good reviews alone. I was not disappointed. Since returning home I’ve visited two different Cajun inspired restaurants chasing the flavor I had here but nothing compares. I will say that the service we had was not good. We didn’t get waters brought to the table until mid way through our meal, and our cocktails that we ordered didn’t arrive until we were done eating. But the food was so good I am not even going to deduct a star because

My husband and I came here for lunch one day after reading the great reviews. The wait wasn’t very long. We waited about 10-15 mins and were able to be seated. The staff was very nice and friendly. The drinks were fantastic. The food was delicious, especially the crab cakes. The only reason why I’m not giving this place five stars is because of the char grilled oysters. They were very small and in one of the oyster shells, I didn’t even find the actual oysters. Other than that, everything else was great.

We were in New Orleans for 3 days and we ended up coming here twice! Great food, great service, the food comes out quickly and it is well priced too.
I had the Louisiana Crab Meat Cakes, Oceana's Famous Oysters, the Taste of New Orleans, the special ‘Stuffed Salomon’, and Cajun Jambalaya Pasta.
Everything was so good!
If you are only going their once, I would recommend getting the Crab Meat Cakes for Appetizer and Either Taste of New Orleans or Stuffed Salmon for entree.
