Women's Clinic Counseling Center was founded in 1972, based on a mission to promote health and well being by providing affordable services in a nurturing atmosphere of individual attention and respect. The History of Our Name: The Clinic's roots began as a medical clinic founded in Los Angeles by doctors and nurses who believed in providing women, men and adolescents with a safe environment in which to take an active role in their health care.

Our highly regarded training program provides Marriage and Family Therapy Trainees and Associates with the clinical skills and supervised hours necessary for MFT licensure in the state of California. The work our Trainees and Associates do is driven by their interests, inspired by their specific goals for themselves as therapists, and carried out in a nurturing environment with the support of skilled and attentive supervision.

Ended up at Hillside Wellness in Sherman Oaks. Much better suited for mental health counseling. Happy this clinic is offering services for reproductive needs, however, I still am baffled by their intake process for counseling services. The mental health professionals I have relayed my experience to have agreed it is an incredibly bad / harm-inducing practice. I sure hope it has changed!

Day late, dollar short. I should have reviewed this place ages ago. I am disappointed and shocked that they closed down. Isn't covered cali suppose to help those of us who can't afford healthcare. I had been going here for years for their medical service. When I did pay, it was low. Now I will be in search of a new place. Hopefully it will be as clean and professional as the Women's Clinic. It's sad that the younger generation won't have access to this place or places like.

I am so devastated this place is closing in October, so unfair. They can't get funding anymore because of the new healthcare laws. I have been going here since the 90s it is such an important resource. The staff, clinicians, and doctors have all been amazing. It is clean safe and friendly. I don't know where else to go now, so sad

I usually go to plan B in Burbank because it's cheaper and clean but I needed somewhere where I was cared for and not always in the rush so I asked my friends about a good Womans Clinic. I don't make enough money and they helped me out with a Green Card that covers most of your visits and medications. My nurse was Marianne Meyers I hope I spelled her name right she was super cool, funny and very attentive to my health concerns. The staff are super sweet and very peaceful no crowds and the wait time is reasonable. Thanks so much and I also thank my girlfriend for the refferal

The NP's here are really wonderful. I met with two separate NP's during my two visits here, and both were extremely detailed and thorough with everything. The doctors here don't try and rush you out and they really take the time to listen to you and find the best course of action. I've had very pleasant experiences both times I was here and the rest of the staff are also very friendly and accommodating.
Keep in mind that even with an appointment, you may be waiting anywhere from 30 min to an hour to be seen.

I want to give this place a 4 star for what it is but the front two receptionist threw me off when I overheard them making small judgements after each phone calls with their patients and talking about their privacy (cases) out loud enough for me to hear in the waiting room. I wonder if they talk about my personal situation when I'm not there too.
Also, the parking is $24 if you don't get a validation. Even then you'd have to pay about $4 due to the fact that even with an appointment you have to wait in the waiting room for about 40-45 min to have a 5-10 min consultation. Paying

The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. My doctor here is seriously the kindest doctor I have ever had. She takes her time, is very gentle, nice, and caring. She doesn't try to rush me in and out the door.

I LOVE this place. Few months a go I'm so desperately looking for Obgyn to check pap smear annually ..I look n look but no one available, most of them give me a month or so. I couldn't wait that long because I have to get a results ASAP due the problem I got in my left tummy ( cramp come n go )I don't know what is wrong but the doctor I went to (around Hollywood) told me I have to check..then i found this clinic.. Thank God

I have recommended this place to many friends and co-workers throughout the years. Nothing but the very best care. I had PPO insurance and was never treated as well as I am here. They are thorough, considerate, and have great bedside manner to boot!

I went today to the clinic for the first time. It was very easy to find and park. Everyone there was very friendly and professional. I saw Marion a nurse practitioner for a pap
smear and breast exam. Sh
e could not have been more personal and comfortable to talk to. I also got a mammogram here. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who doesn't have insurance and cannot afford to go to regular doctor.
my only complaint would be I had a 9am appt and waited an hour before I was seen. But then again...that happens a lot in a regular doctor's office! I would definitely go back again

Got an appointment the same day at 2:00 for new patients.
I waited about 20 minutes but its much better than waiting 2 hours with an appt at Planned Parenthood.
My annual exam was $130 minus blood work for HIV and syphilis because I dont have insurance and I make too much money.
The nurse practitioner was kind and professional. She answered my questions. It was quick and painless.
I would go back again.
The only complaint I have is it smelled like cigarettes in the waiting room. But it could of just been someone sitting in there.

I went to this clinic three times before writing a review because I wanted to have more than one experience to draw from. The first time I went as a walk in because I'd read somewhere that they accept walk-ins. That's ONLY if you're already a patient of theirs. Soooo, I spent an hour in traffic from Los Feliz and God knows how much gas driving to this place to be told they don't take walk-ins for new patients. The waiting room was empty.
Thankfully, I read here on Yelp that they have parking validation because no one mentioned it and I would have been stuck with a $21 parking

Pro: It's a place if you're in a financial bind. If you make under $1,900 per month monthly income you qualify for a free doctor's appointment and whatever else you're there for, if you make more money than that, you pay a fraction of what you would pay anywhere else.

I absolutely love Women's Clinic. My sister referred me and told me how happy she was coming here. I can book an appointment easily for the same day sometimes or within the next two days. The staff is helpful and they are always in a good mood. The nurse practitioners are amazing women who really care about you and make you feel important. I have hardly ever spent over 45 minutes waiting to be called in. Usually, I am in and out in about an hour and half.
They do have walk-in hours as well! Call and ask for the times.
