Services
MODA celebrates Columbus's two opposite, yet equally prized industries - Fashion and Sports. The term MODA literally means, "fashion." MODA brings fashion to the plate, with fun presentations, local drafts, signature wines, and specialty cocktails. Our Executive Chef Corey Welch grew up in Ohio and uses his Ohio proud roots to create and cultivate his new menu items.

I wish I knew about this restaurant at the beginning of the trip. Wouldn't have hit up Sonic so much. I came in to a relatively lively dinner crowd and sat at a booth. Ordered the roasted tomato soup and the wild mushroom pizza. The soup was amazing. Perfect amount of spice and cheese. I also enjoyed the pizza, though I would say the balsamic drizzle was a bit too sweet. Didn't stop me from eating almost the entire thing. I really wanted a steak, and I thought for a hotel restaurant the menu was a bit limited. Had great service the entire time.

I've heard it lamented that Clintonville/Campus has no real higher-end restaurant options. I think Moda fits that bill.
Moda is located in the Marriott hotel, right inside the front door. It obviously has many different functions - hotel breakfast area, coffee stop, bar, and restaurant. We stopped for a late dinner, and the vibe was more of a bistro feel. We were able to seat ourselves in a large, comfortable booth. Although the space is large, it was not super noisy.
We had great service here, with the server checking on us at the right intervals. The manager stopped by as well - professional

This is such a beautiful place. The decor and the environment are amazing. Covers a nice meal or casual drinks at the fully stocked bar. The staff were very friendly. I suggest the sliders and fries it's delicious and pretty on the plate. My cousin had lobster rolls and she couldn't stop talking about them.

MODA located in the bar of the Marriott on Olentangy but don't let that throw you. The seating is intimate with the ambiance of a swanky NYC restaurant. Lounge in comfy chairs while sipping on signature cocktails and stay for dishes that indulge in quality ingredients serving some of the most sophisticated and flavorful plates in Columbus. Knowing Chef Corey is in charge, I recommend asking for the chef's recommendations but make sure to look over their menu to see what pops out at first glance. A menu that is intended to be seasonal, so new items are continually popping up alongside

I was very excited to try this place but was not at all impressed with the food experience for the price point. However, we did not realize that it was inside of a hotel until we arrived and I do have to take into account that hotel restaurants always have inflated prices.
-Service was 4 stars. The server was nice and attentive and she had a trainee with her.
-Cocktails were great, 5 stars. We had the Olentangy Old Fashioned ($14) and the Mint Cucumber Dazed & Infused ($12). My husband's glass had someones chapstick lip marks on it so he immediately sent that back for a replacement.

Went here for burger week! Who knew this place was inside a hotel that I've personally driven by probably over 10000 time. I had no clue. When I pulled in the parking lot I was confused, a drive around and parked in back then walked to the entrance. I told the attendant I was here for the burger week special and they pointed me in the direction of the bar. MODA is an open space right in the lobby. Theres tables and chairs for lounging, a bar, and a few booths. You walk in and sit and a waiter will be over shortly. I was given a menu and placed an order fast. The service was outstanding. I

During my stay last year at the Residence Inn, I was on my way to the parking lot to get something from my car and discovered Moda. Its located right in the main area of the hotel so you can't miss it. I was planning on going out that night but as the night went on it started to rain then pour!! My original plan was to go downtown or hit some of the bars in the area, but I decided on plan B due to rain. Plan B was to work out, catch up on work, watch a movie and get a good nights sleep for a change, but a person has to eat...right?

Fancy little hotel bar with fancy food and good beer. We went here when we knew the local wing place would be crowdwd and it worked out nicely. Not too overpriced. We had to wait a very short bit for some conference traffic but it was great after that. Parking seemed thin but there was room in the way back. Decent local beer selection and some nice drinks and probably some good wine.

We stayed at the Marriott and ate here since it was in the hotel. Plenty of options for food and we ended getting BBQ Short Rib MAC n Cheese, Brussels sprouts and Turkey BLT. BLT was ok. The sprouts were surprisingly good. Never tasted ones seasoned that way. It was like sweet and sour. Saved the best for last. The Mac n Cheese was soooo good. BBQ short rib was not overwhelming as I thought it might be. It was tender and complimented the cheese sauce well and the sauce remained creamy the whole time and was not greasy or oily. Highly recommend this place.

I visited during Restaurant Week. I found the menu for that event to be pleasantly surprising. I ordered the salmon, and it was cooked exactly how I ordered it, and was seasoned and plated well. The salads and desserts were well-portioned and tasted great. Although I did not eat from their normal menu, I would recommend giving MODA a try.

REVISION: Gave breakfast a try again and the service was much better.
Original: The food and service was phenomenal for dinner. We sat at the bar for three nights during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. However the service during breakfast hours was quite the opposite. The only thing keeping it from giving stars.
Would recommend for dinner for sure.

First off, let me say am I the only one who didn't realize that this place was inside of the Marriott lol. When you walk in, you'll never think that your inside of a hotel because there's people everyone just talking and drinking. I came with a group of my colleagues. We're started with the pull pork nachos as a shareable appetizer. They were good! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

My husband, father and I went here after visiting my mother in the hospital nearby. I was pretty disappointed, with prices that are fairly expensive for the quality of food they offered. They had no vegetarian options on the menu, but when asked, offered several things that are not listed on the menu.
I had the beet salad. It was extremely small, and the arugula was wilted. The blackbean burger, which was not on the menu and the waitress didn't know they even had, was good and bonus points for grilling the bun. However, the fries were soft, cold, and no seasoning.
