The shop was amazing. I called and they got me in the same day, repaired and returned my vehicle within a couple of hours. I highly recommend this shop! EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT. Jim's Towing went above and beyond the level of service expected. My daughters was in Elgin from the city when her car over heated. AAA couldn't get her, so she randomly called Jim's. They were INCREDIBLY kind and helpful to her. She limped her car there and left it with them. They fixed her Volkswagen in a short amount of time, and it was a fair price for labor. Even though Jim's is an hour out of the city, she plans to make this shop her go to for all things mechanical!!

The guys at Jim's Towing are the best. I brought my car in recently with an estimate from the mechanic at the dealer for nearly $4K worth of work. Bob diagnosed the problem quickly as a simple spark plug repair. He went above and beyond the ensure his fix was the cure. It was, and I was out the door for just over $100. Highly recommend this shop!

I normally give 4 star for good service but these people are so great that it has to be more than 5 star, start from the time you get inside the place and by the time you leave, everyone will just be happy there. i had some work and they even did not charge me because it needed a second check so they let me go - free service in this world with smile. this is great service.

Googled Jim's Garage. Got the following "Jim's Towing & Automotive can meet al your Volkswagen Repair and Maintenance Needs". My Volkswagen was in their shop for 3 weeks. Jim's Garage did not have the equipment to "program" my VW. After 3 weeks they could not fix it. When I asked for work to stop, they wanted to keep working on it. I asked 5 times for them to stop. They would not, and wanted to bring someone else in to "reprogram" the car a second time. The person they called could not make it that day. So they agreed to take my car somewhere else.
