Lifecare Counseling & Coaching
At LifeCare Counseling & Coaching, we are passionate about serving others by integrating the best mental health practices and spiritual care for the soul. Our team of licensed, Christian practitioners provide services to individuals, couples, and families across the Triangle as well as through HIPPA-secure teletherapy.

Our counselors have a broad range of specialties to address mental health concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, and career choices. In addition, our compassionate mental health providers are trained to integrate clinical counseling and theology. They combine research-based psychology with a Christian perspective of human suffering, hope, and redemptive love.
Services
LifeCare Counseling and Coaching was established in 2008 with the mission of providing quality professional counseling that integrates sound psychological practices with theological principles through the prayerful leading of the Holy Spirit. The practice was also created to serve as a resource to churches and pastors in the community for counseling, support, and training opportunities.
Individual, couple and family counseling as well as adolescent and child therapy is offered by licensed therapists. Special focus groups for men, women and teens are available at various times throughout the year. If you are seeking personal changes or skills, coaching, pre-marital or spiritual formation work are additional options.
We are looking for a child and/or adult psychiatrist to join our team! The position is 100% outpatient and may be either full-time or part-time depending on your needs. Learn more about LifeCare's mission and vision and see if our values align with yours. If this sounds like an opportunity for you, email a cover letter, resume, or any questions you may have to info@lifecarecc.com.
Our licensed clinicians have a broad range of training and experience in counseling and other mental health fields. Our psychiatric team is well-balanced in caring for each patient according to their specific needs mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. In addition, theological training allows each provider to personalize treatment plans while attending to the care of the soul.
As a bilingual Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, Carolina enjoys working with clients on their specific goals and aims to incorporate her psychotherapy training and/or theological approaches to therapy. She hopes to provide a space which feels safe and empowering as well as give understanding to each client's story.

Going through personal challenges in life can be draining and stressful. Over the past few years I have had to deal with a divorce as well as custody-related issues. Lifecare has been by my side every step of the way. I'm not sure what I would have done without them. I worked with Bill Venable and then Steven Price. Both of those therapists are outstanding in every possible way: knowledgeable, empathetic, encouraging, creative, inspiring, and full of faith. I don't think you could find a better group of people than those at Lifecare. I not only rely on them for guidance in my personal life but

I worked with April Miller one-on-one, nearly every week for the better part of a year. She's talented and well-polished. She meets you where you're at, never undermining how you feel about or view a situation. She asks questions to help you draw conclusions, rather than giving the answers; her tactic leads to a changed perspective. Her memory is impressive and personal connection is genuine. I never felt like I wasted a session. She couples Biblical truths with practical application. If you're new to counseling, I encourage you to commit to 4-6 sessions before expecting much change; sessions sometimes

My daughter was a patient here and it is one of the worst run counseling establishments I've ever seen. The office manager would not allow me to speak with a supervisor about how things were mishandled and told lies about what was communicated in writing to my daughter. Terrible representation of what Christian counseling should look like.
