Went to try this place after getting the recommendations on instagram from “feedmi_”. Absolutely loved the authentic taste of the food.
Dimsums are a must try as well as the sesame balls for dessert(be careful as they are steaming hot). Could not try the wines but they had a really good selection of them. Looking forward to go again to try the rest of the Dimsum types.

The location is next to the water which is nice. The server was very nice. The food was not so nice. We started with the caterpillar roll which was OK. nothing special. Although we received our sushi in an acceptable amount of time, it took 25 minutes more for my Miso cod to arrive. The fish was overcooked and sitting on cold broccoli. I don't think it was supposed to be cold. The Miso topping was unlike any Miso glaze I have ever had. It tasted like a Miso salad dressing, too sweet and tangy for this fish dish. Wow, we drove from Leander to find suitable barbecue pork buns and they DEFINITELY delivered!! The chicken and beef dishes we had were not only delicious and flavorful but also lean and tender. Their egg custard buns...perfection (save for dessert). This really was an amazingly delicious and worthwhile trip!!

I came here on a Friday night, on New Year's Eve no less, to dine in. It's a casual atmosphere and they were quick to seat at 5:05pm, which is right when they open for dinner time. I opted to come because of their sibling restaurant, New Fortune, is no longer in business. Please note: I ordered the combination fried rice and the egg custard buns & I didn't order both items at the same time. One of the issues I had was that one of the waiters passed my egg custard buns to the table next to me before they realized their mistake (whilst permitting the customer to take in & nearly dug in) and passed

I've been to Jade (and it's previous iterations) only a handful of times in the last 20 years, and last night I was reminded why.
We ended up entering through the "back door" (closest to Kamal Palace) and found it really odd that nobody was there in reception. We were instead greeted by a section of the restaurant that looks like that one room in your house that nobody uses so it just becomes a storage area. Aesthetically, it was jarring: one nook, which I assume previously was a second sushi bar, was piled with a mishmash of tables and chairs. It looked as if someone had ransacked

I love this restaurant for the cheap happy hour prices and the good food quality. waiter was extremely kind and fun energy. i love the live music and sitting outside on the dock! great enjoyable experience
the only thing holding me back from a 5star review is that WE COULDNT GET WAITERS WHEN WE NEEDED IT!!! we were sat outside but had to stand up from our seats, go INSIDE to call a waiter to come OUTSIDE! and when we were done we food, we had to go back inside to ask for the check!! waiters should be trained to check on tables more! angry customer, but happy for the food

Definitely not with the money! The Mongolian beef was very rare and not tender and was very chewy. The pad Thai is not advertised as having egg so I was disappointed as I can't eat egg. The fried rice also had egg but my husband said it was flavorless. The chicken dumpling was the only thing we liked. The garlic green beans were decent:

All of the staff (except for our server), had snotty, unhelpful attitudes. The manager was the worst of all. Perhaps hiring a 22 year old to be the face of your business is a bad idea? Our food was poorly made and of poor quality. Plates were sticky, napkins and silverware were dirty, and there was a lack of cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Our requests (and eventually complaints) were completely ignored. To top it off

Location is great if you get a seat outside but it's not really a vibe that matches up with the prices.
Very casual and almost like a bar or grill. Loud and people who've had a little too much to drink make it feel more like a nightclub than a restaurant.
Food was pretty pricey for what it is. Not very large portions. Honestly, if you want Chinese food this wasn't much different from Panda quality-wise.
Wish this place was a little more upscale and probably won't be back.

The food here was so delicious! 💞 my family & I loved it here. The people working here were so attentive and absolutely the sweetest bunch. Best restaurant service I have come across in a long time. That says a lot. The scenery on the roof patio is overlooking a gorgeous sunset view I highly recommend this place.

SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. We patiently waited for a table and then one of the hostess came; was about to seat us and said "this is all we have, sit down" before we even sat down. We then asked if other tables were available, and she just walked away.
The AGM Maggie came and said, she acted this way because we had our mask's off.
Keep in mind the entire restaurant had their mask off and we were drinking so also had our masks off.
Rude service and we lost our appetite. Picture attached.
Maggie just deflected and didn't offer a solution as said she's the GM when we asked

I am always wary of vague "Asian Fusion"-type places that serve everything from sushi to orange chicken to pad Thai. Ahh!! Too many options! And it makes me thing they don't really specialize in one cuisine.
With Jade, that assessment is 100% correct. I have tried the sushi. I have tried the bibimbap. I have tried the ramen. All were just ok. Actually - I would even go so far as to say the ramen was just bad.
I really wish they would slim down their menu! Maybe they should just focus on Japanese cuisine, or fusion between

We ordered the Jade Dragon Roll, The Tiger Roll, and the Nigiri Variety Boat.
First off, we came on a weekday night for dinner! This restaurant is so beautiful! The outdoor seating is covered and warmed with heaters!
The food was amazing! I was blown away by how huge the nigiri boat was! Everything tasted absolutely delicious!
As much as I loved the food I wouldn't come back due to customer service and environment.

It's been a challenge finding happy hour spots to meet friends during COVID19. The best part of Jade is it's on the backside of the Marina Pacifica shopping center facing the marina. The breeze and view give this spot an extra star. The tables have umbrellas and dogs are welcome. I have been here a few times and each time the servers were efficient and friendly.
