Performs ((Repairs)) items that are not broken. Walked away from SMC. Tells you next oil change these items needs to be repair. Not honest. Today I go to Eb Auto Tech right behind SMC Transmission. Extremely happy with the 2 bro's been in the same location for over 25 years 510-887-5511. 24649 Industrial Blvd. .

Very good customer service. Took care of everything and did it in a timely fashion. Needed new alternator bc my car battery died @11am. Tow truck got me there @12:45pm. They started on my car at 1pm, gave me an estimate and said couple hours MAYBE 4pm...I was driving away @3:30pm. Good enough for me!

I am senior female & I am always leery of service people of any kind. When I thought my transmission was going I took it to this shop. Sam could have told me that I needed a new transmission, but instead he was very honest and said all I needed was transmission fluid. When my service engine light keep coming on I needed to fix the problem so I could get my car smoged. Sam work hard to find what the problem was & worked to try to fix it but it was something electric which he was unable to fix. His prices are so resonable, he is professional, knows his stuff so you can't go wrong

We had our car towed here to diagnose a locked tire while driving on the freeway. They were able to diagnose and fix in the same day. The price was resoanable, good quality and friendly! Thank you Sam!

I've been going to this shop for years. These guys have always treated me with respect and treated my cars with respect as well. They have great pricing and I rarely see them because they take such good care of my car the first time. They taken care of breaks, rotors, wheel strut problems, oil changes, AC coolant problems, and more which I can't remember.

I have been a customer with Sam for nearly 10 years. I've had so many different vehicles over the years and every time I have a problem (I've had many) Sam knows exactly what to do, I've never had a negative experience with him. Once I even had my boyfriend take his car from the Dodge Walnut Creek dealership where they had it for a month and every time he would pick it up when they told him it was ready the car would cut off and leave him stranded. Sam fixed his car in one day and he never had a problem with it again. I now live miles away but I still call him and will make the effort

This place is great. Sam was able to troubleshoot multiple problems with my transfer case and did a great job, for about half the price that the dealership quoted me. I would recommend the great work they do here to anybody.

I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu that just started giving me some transmission problems. A couple places told me I needed to rebuild my transmission but I decided to get a better opinion here at SMC. Sam went out of his way to check everything possible on my transmission and was able to find the problem without rebuilding the whole thing. 5 stars for this place exceptional customer service and work!!

SMC did a great job on my transmission rebuild. They were very understanding of my situation and were happy to work with me on my timing and were able to repair my truck in a timely fashion. I highly recommend.

They go above and beyond and are very affordable. This is a shop that I can trust. they NEVER try to up sale you and they are honest and forthright. They get the job done in a reasonable amount of time and if they run into a problem they inform you right away.

I have a 10-year-old Toyota which has treated me very well except for a few things that I've recently needed some attention. Upon a recommendation I visited Sam, my brakes needed to be redone and quickly. Sam was extremely kind, and accommodating. He charge me a reasonable price compared to the other quotes that I got. He explained that HAD to do my rear brakes immediately, but that I still have some time on the front brakes.
