We loved working with Rene Stern and Mary Lee. We couldn’t have asked for better team! They are extremely professional and knowledgeable. We were extremely grateful for the advice they gave us about preparing our house for sale. They helped us get painters, plumbers, contractors, stagers etc. in quickly to do the necessary work so we could stay on schedule. They were there with us every step of the way! Rene, without doubt, the best Realtor we have ever met and ever expected to meet. In our first get-together she listened - then was able to understand our thoughts and feelings about the house. She then suggested the things we should do to hasten the sale. From then on she planned the entire operation which was so important to us. Sitting at the table signing papers to list the condo, from the moment Rene said, "maybe you don't want me to be your agent" since we didn't want to stage as she did and had a different price range than her - we should have got up and ran! It's not that Rene's communication with us was bad, it was minimal. A few emails in 6 months. We were just strangely not in sync. It appears she wrote us off as problematic clients early in the relationship. After 6 months no sale, what a surprise. The coup de grace, Rene can't locate the 2 sets of keys and garage door opener

Our family bought a home in Queen Anne in 2011. This realtor was the seller's agent. When we saw the for sale sign, we called her and told her we would like to see the home. She said she was unavailable but would contact her colleague--another agent at Windemere--and have her meet us at the home to let us in. She let us in, and we ended up buying it. When we were in escrow and about to close the sale, this realtor's colleague, the one who let us in, filed a special claim for a commission IN ADDITION to the commissions being paid to this agent and our own agent.
