The Dental TLC story is how an average, small-town boy created Atlanta's largest dental office by making patients and employees alike raving fans. Hi, I'm Dr. Roger Abbott, founder. The story began in 1968 when my parents, Jim and Darlene Abbott fulfilled their small-business dreams and bought a motel and gas station in Keene, NY pop.
Due to limited staff, high call demand, and high appointment request/reschedule demand it is taking our team longer than usual to respond to appointment requests. We are doing our very best to get back to you as soon as possible. Our response time to cleaning and check up appointments is between 1-7 days.

I'm proud to be a Georgia native! I grew up in Tucker where I went to high school. I received my dental hygiene degree from Georgia Perimeter College. I joined Dental TLC in 1994 shortly after my best friend told me about her new hygiene position with Dr Abbott. Wow, look at us now! We got the party started, as they say.

This dental office is incredible. I was terrified of going to the dentist to where I put off treatment for years and my teeth continued to get worse. I found this office while searching for dentists specializing in managing anxiety and I'm very glad I did. All the staff is kind and gentle. They are excellent at making you feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Nadia is excellent too and turned the dental treatment that I dreaded for years into a completely painless and pleasant experience. If you’re looking for a dentist in the Atlanta area, this is it. I’ve had horrible experiences with dentists in the past, which left me reluctant to even schedule appointments. I heard about Dental TLC from a few friends, and I’m so glad I decided to try it. The staff is welcoming, accommodating and always SO cheery (even first thing in the morning). They’re mindful about making you feel comfortable, on top of free laughing gas. I don’t have any anxiety about the dentist anymore, and actually look forward to going. Thank you, Dental TLC!

Oh my goodness! This place! Where do I even begin!!!!!???? I hate the dentist like I'm sure many people do. I came in bright and early at 7:00 am with a feeling of anxiety. Anita welcomed me with a feeling of normalcy. With anything healthcare related you either feel warm and welcomed OR like you're another pt to be treated. So coming into Dental TLC with her warmth gave me a little peace of mind. After only but 59 seconds of sitting in the waiting room I was greeted by Mady who related to my shopping addiction lol so it was easy to get lost in the conversation instead of worrying about

I’ve been a patient of Dr Abbott since 1998. I consider him a friend and a joy to know. I actually look forward to my dental appointments. The office is very relaxing, great music playing, rock music history on the walls, cheerful staff…and the free laughing gas is awesome. TLC has got to be the best dental practice in Atlanta hands down.

After a terrible dental visit elsewhere, I came to TLC because they’re supposed to be really great about dental anxiety. Today they proved that reputation is absolutely warranted. I had a full set of x-rays done and a cleaning. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Sara was super gentle when doing my x-rays and Amber was super awesome during my cleaning. I had minimal anxiety over all and am actually looking forward to my next visit. Get the gas… trust me.

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. If that doesn’t say satisfaction, what does. The entire staff is awesome, friendly, professional. The office is well run. Appointments are always on time. And they will bombard you with reminders so you have no excuses to forget or be late lol. They practice Covid safe protocols too. Highly recommend!

What a great practice!! I switched to this practice because I have heard such great things about it from my co-workers. I'm so glad I did and wished I had sooner. All staff was kind. I was greeted immediately and though I could not see a smile (masked up) I could see it in their eyes. I'm so pleased and will be back.

Can't speak highly enough about this practice. I am a tough dental patient. I hate going to the dentist, but also in my line of work, I see more than my share of dental fraud.
Dental TLC worked to make me extremely comfortable. Even when I thought I was going to panic in the chair, they had a quick remedy to make sure that I was fine.
The hygienist are extremely personable and knowledge and the dentists work together as a well oiled machine. As part of my treatment, I received a temp crown that subsequently came off FOUR times (it was largely my fault because my temporary bite was off and I didn

My tooth just broke in half
A tooth that I raised as an issue 6 mos. ago.... and they recommended that I do nothing?..
(Just pulled out half of it!)
I called to get an appt, but they're too busy to see me today!?!? (1 PM)
Made an appt for tomorrow @ 9:30 AM (Really - I'm in pain!)
Then told that they may not be able to fix it during the consultation... Are you kidding me?
If I had the time to find another dental service

Been going to TLC for years always like the crew.
I recently fractured a tooth due to grinding. Needed to have extracted. The fee seemed about twice what my friends paid. Called complained and walked through charges. I was still concerned about bill and pain but reluctantly agreed to go forward. All in my up coming procedures total about $9K (includes implant).
The day before the procedure I cancelled due to a last minute interview. I am out of work due to the pandemic and need to work. Didn't think I would be impressive in the interview the following day with a freshly pulled tooth. I guess
