The very first thing you should do when you are ready to seriously start your home search is to reach out to a trusted and well known loan agent (or two) to begin the formal pre-approval/full credit approval process. I would like to say that I’m a reasonable person and that I have unlimited funds to spend on real estate. But I would be lying. When it comes to housing and investments, I have unreasonable expectations and I’ve never met a penny I didn’t pinch, hard. I've never written a bad Yelp review, but Salma & company's bad service and bad attitude has prompted me to write one. They were flippant and rude when showing a property, and didn't know any of the property's basic details, such as heating system. It was almost as if they didn't want the property to be leased.
Though we liked the property and would have signed the lease, we withdrew our application that same day because they weren't helpful, accommodating, or trustworthy. Even though we withdrew within a day of applying, they still cashed our credit score checks

I had a wonderful experience and have very fond memories of my 2 years living in San Francisco in the same apartment, leased by Salma and Co. This was my first apartment in San Francisco following life in college and the entire Salma family was incredibly attentive and welcoming to me and my roommates--a bit like a second family in my home away from home. They were very attentive and always responded to our requests promptly.

If I could give these people zero stars I would. After searching day and night for a apartment in the city we finally found an apartment we liked that we were offered. On a Wednesday we were offered the apartment. We set up a time the following Tuesday to sign the lease, and after moving ACROSS COUNTRY to prepare for the move after working so hard to find a place, on the Monday before we were to sign the lease we get a 2 sentence long email from Salma saying that they are sorry but have decided to rescind the offer, to raise the price. We had signed leases, discussed the move for a whole WEEK,
