Lawrence and Marcus met in 2004 and immediately became good friends. They quickly discovered they had similar goals, business philosophies, and shared a passion for practicing real estate with a personal touch. In 2006, they formed Mahool Nance Realtors, and every year since, no matter what the market conditions or economic challenges faced, their business has continued to grow and prosper.
Even though Lawrence is originally from Harrisonburg, Virginia, he has lived here in Charlotte since 1996 and considers himself a true Charlottean. Lawrence attended Radford and James Madison University, both in Virginia, where he studied hospitality and tourism. He's been selling real estate in Charlotte and surrounding areas since 2002.

My husband and I engaged Marcus in October to help us find our first home, and we had the BEST experience! We also had the pleasure of working with Lawrence, and both of these guys are just awesome and extremely knowledgeable. Marcus Nance and the whole Mahool Nance team were a pleasure to work with. We used them to both sell a home and purchase a home and they made a very stressful process a breeze. My wife and I were referred to Marcus by a good friend of ours who said they had a “great realtor” and that we would “like Marcus for sure.” Fortunately for us all of that was absolutely true and more. Putting aside the realty aspect of things for a minute, Marcus is just a great guy. My wife and I had a lot of fun looking at houses with him, something I usually dread doing because the real estate agents usually get on my nerves because they are pushy.
