Update (Nov '21): I've continued to use Rudy for a variety of services since my initial review (some steering work, undercoating, etc.) They continue to impress. They are very responsive, even to email, which is convenient. As always, the quality of their work remains excellent.
Rudy does excellent work. They were honest about when they could start the project (about two weeks out). They didn’t just lie and say they can start immediately to get the vehicle in there. I was driving in Syracuse (from Rochester) and hit a tire on the expressway that really messed up my car. I called Rudy Schmid's and despite having a jam packed day, they made time for me. Rudy Scmid was great as always! I dropped my daughter’s car to have a new headlight, taillight and the front fender repaired in the morning, and picked it up the next day. Fast, Friendly, and Fair.
I wouldn’t bring my cars anywhere else. Also, they washed the outside of the car, which is more than my daughter ever did.

I am compelled to write this review after picking up my car. Rudy Schmid + team did a beautiful paint job after someone did a hit + run in the parking lot on my car. Very reasonable pricing as well.
They not only did a great job with the paint and in fantastic time (dropped off for Monday morning - picked up Tuesday afternoon), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my car spotless on the interior as well - floor mats washed off and all.
It's the little things sometimes, and I truly appreciate that extra added detail. I will now be using this business for routine car maintenance as well as my

I just wanted to leave a review for Rudy Schmids Total Car Care as they we so excellent from start to finish. Brought my vehicle in to get the bumper replaced from an accident. They made the entire process so easy for me and handled everything from my rental car, to dealing with the Insurance adjuster and all the financial end of it. While there I thought I needed new brakes and rotors, and asked them to replace them while my car was there, but after they test drove it and inspected them, they told me I had a lot of life left to them and that I really did not need them at this time! Brought my new car in to get it protected from CNY weather. Rust Check to keep it protected and costs half of what the dealership tried to offer me at a discount rate with other similar services.
