My husband and I filled for BK in 2017, Overall the process was somewhat smooth. The day of our court date the attorney left and forgot that he had court still, it was embarrassing sitting there waiting for your attorney, after they tell how much they charge you if we missed court. Thankfully he showed up super late.. we used the payment plan company that they also said would report to our credit bureau and that was a LIE. We are almost 3 years discharged and i'm still not sure it was the best decision. If I could do it over I definitely do more research on the attorney selection.

Hal is very knowledgeable and easy to work with himself. However this process was an absolute nightmare and I did not feel supported or informed during the BK process and it was extremely stressful. I had to constantly ask questions and follow up on things myself. The paralegal Vanessa, came to both of my meetings in gym clothes and ear buds in.
