Highly underrated fantastic steakhouse in Jackson Hole. The service was wonderful and they have an incredible wine selection. The ambience was ok, however we were seated in a separate room away from the restaurant (I'm assuming the rest of the restaurant was full) but it did affect the ambience. We were next to the Hotel's gym which was only separated by a red curtain. There was a space heater next to us as it got quite chilly With the breeze.
The potatoes are DELICIOUS. We ordered it without gravy and loved everything about it. Great texture not too salty. I had the 8 oz filet, medium

We came in to town as we were passing by. We went there as their menu had items we wanted to try. When we arrived, we were told there are no table unless we had a reservation. As another host showed up, they said "we can work you in" and got us a table. After conversation with a waitress, apparently they have different menu from their website. Oh well. We ordered stakes (which were pricey) but had a long wait for them. We also had a subpar service where we constantly had to ask for refills which were constantly being forgotten, even after reminders. We got a vibe that we were "not up to class"

We did not have a good experience. The service was not good, the steak over done (it came almost well done and was ordered medium rare+), the Salmon was not cooked properly, it was also well done versus the medium we ordered. The chocolate cake is not very good and the vanilla ice cream was not all that good. You'd expect more from a high end restaurant.
On a positive note, the Caprese salad was very good as well as the brussel sprouts.
Also, we were celebrating our anniversary. When they delivered the dessert they said a big group was coming in soon so they needed our table. I get

These steaks were the best steak I ever had. The Wagu, which was a first for us, is worth the hype. Best steak ever. I just recommend to eat a snack or something before you order the 3oz. Wagu. Best steak ever but obviously very expensive.
Glad we tried it. Maybe a once a year deal for me.
I had the ribeye which was 2nd best from Wagu, but I got the 16oz. Very flavorful. They put the steaks on a salt block and it kept it cooking if needed.
Our waiter Cody was awesome and always checked on us. Made the experience better.

Hey everyone post Covid got to relax a little bit about these destination vacation and service. They have an amazing happy hour from 5 to 6 with a $10 unbelievably gourmet burger and fries get a glass of high-end wine or beer but don’t be steered away because of the service reviews, everyone is doing the best they can as is all of the destination resorts without any staff yes there’s no staff… anywhere. Look at the want ads and look at the signs on every door at every place of business around here. The staff that was there was attentive as they could be for the number of tables and the food

The food is very good, don’t get me wrong… but the wait staff is so understaffed it’s not even funny. Why bother even trying to run the restaurant when you can’t hold up to the promised standards…. 1.5 hours for salads and steaks….$250 for 2 people isn’t cheap, and the manager has the most unprofessional, blasé attitude ive ever witnessed. Until he went to the ‘back’ and downed a tallboy beer in plain sight, that seemed to improve his morale….

I was almost tempted to give them two stars. This is a very, very small restaurant. They have about 12 tables. There is also another small section that is more private and brighter. On the phone, they tell you to dress up and that everybody is really fancy. Hardly anyone wears jeans. Well, that is not the case. We ate here once but peeked in her a few times on different days because it is right in the hotel we were staying at. Most people are not dressed up. I'm not sure why they tell you to get dressed up. They also tell you reservations are required but during the week, the restaurant is

Giving this restaurant 5 stars despite some service mishaps - let that be an indication of the level of deliciousness we experienced here.
Ambiance: I loved the cozy basement set up. Lots of wood paneling, dark walls, and comfy black leather booths. It felt clean and new. If you're very covid cautious, it may be a tiny bit outside your comfort zone, and I know there were a few reviewers who touched on this, but I'm pretty aware and it felt fine to me on the Saturday night we were there.

Cant say enough good things about this restaurant, from the awesome staff to the super fast and delicious food it’s definitely worth the stop. We had the bison steak and the fillet with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and I would have to say it was probably the best food we have had in a long time. The cocktails were good also!

Felt lucky to get a reservation at the White Buffalo after hearing good things about the menu.
WAITED 1 HR: Arrived at 7pm for a 715pm reservation - we were told our table was not ready and we were seated at 8pm. Received our entrees at 10pm.
FAILED CITY COVID REGULATIONS: This restaurant was pretty obviously not abiding by city COVID regulations - allowed a party of 8 to stand at the bar that we were told is closed, located 3 feet behind our table and served them a good number of drinks. We moved our table physically ourselves and this was never addressed, we were 1 of 3 parties still left

We had a reservation for July 3rd and had been so excited about coming back to the Restaurant at White Buffalo Club.
We had an amazing dinner experience. Our server was wonderful, the food was exquisite.
The bread with the in-house made butter was the perfect start to the dinner, we also got Brussel sprouts and French fries, we were most excited about our steaks. Might be my favorite steak I’ve ever eaten. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Pros: The steak is well executed as they source steaks from high quality farms and the flavors support their claim. We ordered the filet 8 oz which was one of the best steaks that I had in a long time. The Kobe burger was rich with smoked gouda, caramelized onion balsamic and bacon. It was great but super rich and hard to digest.
Cons: The dining room is situated in a basement next to the gym which was small and filled with dated furnishings. Sadly, it reminded me with a nursing home dining room with tired walls and chairs. The tables are crowded and next to each other. It is not suited for conversation

Perfection and wonderful service. Get the 10oz Bavette from Snake River Farms. Best steak ever consumed in my life. Also, received some profound steak-knowledge from the awesome bartender (ski-bro from Brooklyn - you are the man!). Cuts of steak with more marbling/fat, go with a medium, or slightly under that, to render the fat into the meat. (think of a middle ground between medium and medium-rare). Game-changer and it makes perfect sense. So many places and people just go with an attitude similar to "ANYTHING MORE THAN MEDIUM RARE AND I'LL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE AND ASK YOU TO LEAVE". I think

We went here on our last night in Jackson Hole, and I was blown away with the food and the service.
We didn't have a reservation, and they were fully booked, but there were plenty of open seats at the bar that we were able to sit at.
We ordered a couple of cocktails to start out, both of with were delicious. Jay, the manager, was the bartender and our waiter, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable.
For dinner, we ordered a Cesar salad, I got a ribeye and my fiance got a fillet, and we got the duck Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts for sides. Everything was amazing. The steaks were

This was the first restaurant we went to when we arrived in Jackson. We wanted to make sure to go somewhere that was going to "wow" us. The White Buffalo has a great atmosphere. Walking down the steps to the restaurant itself has a feeling of walking into a secret club house.
I tried a local brown suggested by our waitress and it was pretty good. Once you sit you're given a complimentary appetizer. From what I can remember it was a potato chip with beef tartare, it was really good. We also ordered the focaccia - it was ok and bone marrow - recommended! For our entrees we ordered
