I am very glad I found Stephen Plog. I had a very simple document I needed reviewed. I called a lot of law firms and couldn't get clear information from anyone without doing a consultation first. Intake was clear on my goals. Books one hour discussion with attorney not have my choice but someone Junior. After taking one hour of my time and my money, told me that person had no ability or experience with what I was asking for. The goal of the discussion has been clear from intake.

The most UNPROFESSIONAL Wanna-be lawyers around spent over $7000 in retainer fees to have a case presented so poorly against a respondent Pro Se and then a verdict they admitted was not right. Then I ask how they could help and the most important thing was to them was that it would Cost. They are Hourly and doesn’t matter the results they get for you. Botched case to be able string case out for more money. They have no pride or care about the case they present just your money. Blamed verdict on Magistrate they will not admit they are Rookies and got it handed to them by somebody Pro Se. Stephony

Where do I begin? If I could give Stephen Plog more than 5 stars it would be a no-brainer! A divorce is a difficult, soul wrenching experience no matter how ready you may be for it to happen. I went to Stephen after firing my initial divorce attorney because she wasn't enough of a fighter to go up against the hideous woman my ex-husband had hired. Stephen Plog is one of few honest, honorable lawyers in Colorado. He handled the preparation of paperwork for a judgement I needed to obtain for child support. I had been trying to collect on this for over 20 years and went through many lawyers in the process. I spoke with 15 different attorneys and every one of then wanted $5000-$10,000 non-refundable dollars "just in case" it would require more than standard effort on their part to complete this work.

I have experienced nothing less that professionalism over the many interactions over the years with Stephen and his office. I met Stephen 7/8 years ago when he was my boyfriends attorney. He made such an impression on me when my boyfriend at the time was going through some really tough and trying times. After searching for the right divorce attorney, I hired Plog & Stein. They were highly recommended by a friend who went through a difficult divorce. I am so happy I did. This is the worst experience I've ever had as a client. They are very concerned about money. They were in the process of moving offices and lost and misplaced my paperwork. My lawyer came to mediation unprepared. They told me that they prepare at this level for the final hearing which implies they had no interest in keeping this out of court. I was not copied on emails to the opposing party and was in the dark. After I could not afford them anymore, it took more than 10 days to get my file. When I did, it was incomplete.
