The Big Fish Grill Restaurant
Founded in 1997 by brothers Norman and Eric Sugrue, Delaware's Big Fish Grill has become one of the premier spots for casual dining in the region. A unique blend of original recipes, must-have favorites and affordable prices have resulted in a dedicated following. Enough so to earn numerous "Best Seafood at the Beach" awards by Delaware Today & Coastal Style magazines.

It all started with a vision, a spark of excitement, along with a 90 seat restaurant and a simple business philosophy. In 1997, brothers Eric & Norman Sugrue opened the doors to the Big Fish Grill and began sharing their vision and creating the Big Fish culture, the foundation of our success. Our team shares a love of great food and giving genuine, warm and welcoming hospitality to all our guests.

Big Fish has something for everyone. Sit at the bar for a nice drink with a friend, have sushi and oysters with a date, or bring the whole family (the paper tablecloth is fun for any age!) The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The food won't disappoint. Servers are very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Overall, you can tell that the place is well managed. This will be a go-to spot for my friends and family when we visit Rehoboth Beach.

This place is huge and very busy, but even with all of the people waiting, we got seated in 30 minutes - the exact time they estimated. Very impressive. I thought the food and service were only okay though. Our server was nice but not very attentive. The food was good but not great. My broiled combo was extremely salty. The portion sizes were appropriate though. (I wasn't feeling sickly stuffed or hungry at the end of the meal.) Bottom line ... I'd go back again because clearly this is a popular place doing something great, and I just didn't figure out what it is yet.

Amazing restaurant. It is my favorite place to get seafood in Delaware. The menu is huge, so I can always try something new. 10/10!!!

The food was delicious. I had the Salmon dish it was amazing. Well cooked and well made. The fish was fresh and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was wonderful and our waitress was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the atmosphere and there was plenty of space in the restaraunt, it did not feel crowded even though it was full. We only had to wait a few minutes.

Started out really strong but ended up having a bad overall experience. Restaurant space is large and has nice beach/fishing decor. Appetizers were very tasty (Alaskan Sushi Roll and Baked Oysters). At that point would have rated 5 stars.
However, service was poor. Server did not check on us for water refills or ask if we wanted another beverage (would have gladly ordered another one) at any point. Service was slow overall and when we did finally get our meals, one of the two entrees was incorrect. Understandably, mistakes happen, but the server did not seem to care at all, in fact seemed to have

Big Fish Grill was the restaurant for my Aunt's memorial luncheon. We had our own dining room, our own waitress and a delicious variety selection of food. This included an appetizer tray of cheese, crackers plus more, crab cakes, scallops with bacon, Greek salad, chicken salad sliders & deviled eggs. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the food was delicious and the staff very courteous and friendly. It was a wonderful time to remember to Aunt Doris.

Went here twice and sat in the bar area. The first time we sat at a high top, had excellent service, and the food was great. Tried the Salmon napoleon, cod tacos, edamame, sushi, and a margarita. My friends got oysters, Buffalo tenders, artichoke dip, and shrimp.
The second time I came here we sat at the bar, the service was awful, the sushi was mediocre and extremely small pieces, and overall was very disappointing. I'm glad the first experience was so good, if not I would have said don't come here. Overall, come for happy hour and wish for the best on consistency and quality.

TLDR: Overpriced and overrated, disappointing.
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Long wait outside the door, but we had a reservation with our larger party. It took a while to get our orders placed. It’s a busy restaurant, so the staff is usually pretty busy. Our food took a pretty long time to come out. I measure service by how long it takes for them to fill up my water once empty and it took a long time here.
Bruschetta (10/10): Great appetizer. The bread was crispy and the tomatoes tasted great. The combination was great.
Shrimp Penne (6/10): Not really that good, imo. I found

Stopped here for dinner. Glad we did! Great crab cakes, fried oysters, all side dishes were delicious. Was too stuffed for dessert, so got it togo. (Key lime pie & chocolate cake.) Our server Josie was extremely pleasant and helped us thru the menu. Highly recommend.
