MEET THE TEAM AT CHRISTIAN COUNSELING ASSOCIATES RALEIGH: We are all licensed, credentialed and experienced counselors and life coaches, with extensive backgrounds in individual and marriage counseling. Our team also has several more highly trained therapists Ginna Bustle LCSW, Rick McKoy LCMHCA and two Life Coaches Angel King and Dr. Russ Rainey.
This conversation gives us all the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about problems and objectives and to candidly talk together about the ways in which Christian Counseling Associates of Raleigh can be of service. In circumstances where we collectively agree that a different practice or type of therapy is called for, we will be happy to make referral suggestions.
Under the direction of Dr. Mike and Rhonda Garrett, Christian Counseling Associates of Raleigh is fully qualified to provide our clients with a wide range of counseling therapies, all delivered from a Christian perspective. The emphasis of our practice - our calling - is providing distressed and damaged couples with the insights and activities that will allow them to save their marriages and get them on a positive path.
Online Video Counseling or "Telecounseling" via video or phone is a viable form of treatment to promote continuity of care when the client or the practitioner cannot physically be present in the practitioner's office. This will be real-time counseling or life coaching by computer, tablet or phone at a scheduled appointment time.
Hourly Sessions: At Christian Counseling Associates of Raleigh, we dedicate many of our resources to ongoing relationship counseling for couples, individuals and families, even though we also provide marriage intensives and "tune-ups." Every counseling appointment we provide is customized to meet the specific issues and goals of our clients.

Wanted to choose this practice for my 15 yr old son who is struggling. My insurance covers the cost of counseling, but this practice charges you up front and leaves you to chase your insurance for reimbursement. Having been a medical professional for almost 24 yrs, I can say that this isn't the norm. Usually the insurance is billed, and then the patient pays any remaining balance, anything else seems a little fishy, if not just off-putting. I pay a good deal of money for a health care plan that includes a mental health plan. This unfortunately was what turned me away from this practice and look

I can’t say enough about Angel King! I’ve been seeing her for a couple of months to deal with some issues of loss/grief and she is fabulous. She is kind and compassionate while at the same holding me accountable for my thoughts and actions. She definitely has a gift for discerning what is going on in my life and pointing me back to God in the midst of all of it. What a blessing to see someone following God's call and doing such an incredible job of it!

Angel King is a wonderful Life Coach! She is kind and patient, but most of all - very knowledgeable about how to best help you with whatever you’re struggling with. She is prayerfully intentional about the guidance she gives and she is compassionate in her instruction in best help practices. I would recommend Angel King to anyone! I've seen her for about four months now and she's always been so caring, attentive, and helpful. Always available beyond her office hours if you need her. I was having a really hard time over the holidays and she moved my appointment up a few days because she knew I was in real need of some guidance. She's been a huge blessing to my life during a very difficult season. Could not recommend more.

Angel King has helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. She is a gifted, generous and validating listener. She has a knack for helping others prioritize what is most important to them and from there, how to get organized and get things done accordingly. I very highly recommend Angel King as a life coach. During a very difficult time in my life, she helped me to sort through many emotions and gave to tools to focus on the Lord.
