This place reopened recently. I'm so used to Chinese restaurants being middling at best and horrendous at worst, that my expectations were not very good going in. The waiter told me they reopened mid September. The place is hidden away on the second floor and you don't really see it unless you know what to look for.

I haven’t been to the dining room due to COVID-19, but I found this hidden gem via DoorDash delivery. The Shanghai food here is so authentic and delicious (I didn’t try the dim sum since it’s Cantonese). So far I’ve tried lion head, salty duck, drunken chicken, ham bean curd, and Shanghai style rice. They are all super fresh and tasty. Not only they managed to replicate the authentic flavor, the presentation of the food is also impeccably delicate. Highly recommend!

I ordered the general tso chicken with extra rice. The food was pricey but very good! I didn’t like the fact that you have to pay extra for rice with the dishes, but, this is probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in the state of WA. My General tso chicken was supposed to come with broccoli which was forgotten so that’s why I’m giving 4 and not 5 stars...
They have a really nice atmosphere. White linen cloths with beautiful decor and lighting. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Heard that this place recently reopened so decided to give it a try for dinner. My husband and I tried the smoked fish, Shanghai style rice cakes and the hotpot with chicken. The smoked fish and the rice cake were decent. When the hotpot with chicken came, it looked really good but the first piece of chicken we picked up was undercooked with traces of blood inside. The other pieces were smaller so those were cooked. At a glance it looks like a decent portion of meat, but most of them are actually all bones no meat. We had 6 pieces of drumstick end bone with no meat on it...yes I took a pic. The
