Ginza is a wonderful sushi shop located in downtown Bellevue and I would totally come back again! I came in a person of 8, without a reservation, and we were seated within 5-10 minutes at one of their private rooms - one of the nice traditional ones with a low tables. It felt very authentic and the waitresses were so nice about it! Not only was the atmosphere great, but the service and the food. The waitresses came back to check on us periodically and answered many questions about the menu, even offering suggestions (one friend overestimated the portion size of an item but the waitress made sure

Hidden gem in Bellevue. It is right off Main street but is an amazing place.
Food is very reasonably priced considering the great quality and big portions. Loved the sushi & tempura combination. Sushi was super fresh and melted in your mouth.
The service is great with enough staff to keep all of the customers pleased.

A cute little restaurant that's located in old Bellevue. This little place is known for their pumpkin fried rice which is served in a little squash! The pumpkin is nice and creamy which pairs well with the fried rice and since this is a Japanese restaurant, we couldn't resist and got sashimi as well. The fish quality was really fresh and tasted amazing! Love coming to this place and will come back again.

If you are looking for authentic sushi 🍣. This is the place to come to. The traditional vibe was a welcome addition. I liked the freshness of the tuna and salmon that they used. But if im being honest i was more satisfied eating sushi and japonesa down the road from this place. But in the end if you are looking for an authentic place then this place is for you.

Wow! Who knew there was such a gem in Bellevue? Yummy Japanese comfort food and at great prices. They have a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, hot dishes, appetizers, rice… etc.
We ordered:
- hot stone plate beef tongue (yummy especially with the dipping sauce)
- fried oysters (because you can’t go wrong with this and I love the cabbage salad that comes with it)
- sashimi deluxe (holy cow the pieces were huge, definitely bigger than standard)
- uni sushi (Japanese uni)
- seaweed salad (great palate cleanser)

I just had lunch today here at Ginza at 2 pm. I ordered black cod fish tereyaki. I didnt like it because it smells fishy and taste was so weird. I informed the server right after my fist bite. My server was very nice and went back to the kitchen asking the chef for me. She came back and say that the Chef refuse for the return of my order. The chef say the fish is pretty fresh and just cut this morning. Even I said that I didnt like it I still have to pay for it? She says unfortunately yes. Gina is interesting because they have the standard stuff you'd expect from the average Japanese restaurant (sushi/sashimi including some crazy rolls, katsu, teriyaki) which is all done pretty well, and then they have a whole izakaya menu of stuff that's much less common (broiled beef tongue with tea salt, squash stir fried rice, etc). I was with family and we didn't get to try as much of the izakaya menu as I would have liked, but it definitely seems worth checking out -it's practically a whole separate restaurant. Pumpkin fried rice is a must! The fried rice is definitely one of the best fried rice I have eaten. The chirashi bowl is also pretty good. They give a variety of seafood so you can sample various items. It's fresh and high quality. Lunch seems to be a better deal than dinner. Takeout packaging is really good that it doesn't compromise the integrity of the food.

Pumpkin fried rice! Order it! It's amazing. My go to dinner is the beef teriyaki. It's the best steak teriyaki I've had locally. Their dinners come with small side dishes like pickled vegetables and cabbage salad. Their tempura is really good and crunchy as well without being greasy.
Highly recommend reservations. They have private traditional rooms to dine in, which are really cool for special occasions.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant . They used to have a large space in the back that was larger than their main seating area and maybe due to COVID, they rented that area out to another business. I typically get the salmon teriyaki as I can't make it like theirs. Mine comes close but they seem to use really good quality salmon though the piece is a bit small. Their tempura is also very good. The omacase nigiri was excellent quality: amazing o-toro, creatively sauced ama ebi with yuzu and flying fsh eggs. Also, aji that was only and delightful. We had to have Alaskan salmon, flounder and scallop,… all top quality excellent! Black Cod, Nobu-style is truly delicious. A Vegan friend had a perfect selection of vegetable rolls. We will return!
