DON’T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I wouldn’t trust these guys with my car EVER. My wife and I were on a road trip and our van wouldn’t start, we had it towed to Alpine motors to have them take a look, they were rude from the beginning. A few days later they got back to us, they said all kinds of stuff was wrong with it (spark plugs, bad oil, dirty carburetor, and dirty air filter) and they were charging way way to much for all that. First off, I knew at least part of that was a lie, I had changed the oil and the air filter right before the trip. So I was going to have it towed out of there and I

I accidently ended up here last fall due to my heater core going out. I tried the cheaper option first of flushing my radiator, but still no heat. Caylub and the crew got my car back hot, quick, and slightly under what the quoted rate was. I've been back for several services and am always heard and taken care of - never over-sold on work I don't need. Caylub has a general idea of what I can do myself and will suggest upcoming maintenance, while giving me the choice of having the shop do it or doing it myself. I'd call this a Bob Ross 'Happy Accident' and have found my go-to valley mechanic.

I rented a U-Haul this past weekend online and went to pick it up on Saturday. My pick up time was 2:45pm. I arrived at 2:53pm. As I walked in the door, Don, the man behind the desk said nothing but 'You're Late". I was 8 minutes late for my pick up time. I was taken back with how rude he was. What kind of customer service is this?? With his attitude, you would have thought I was an hour late or arriving 5 minutes before they close. The entire interaction made me want to walk out and drive to Rifle to rent a budget truck. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- SUPER RUDE!

BEWARE :I brought my vehicle here Because my motor was blown up, they took on the job saying they could repair it. So I went out and bought a new motor for them to install. Took about ten days for it to arrive To the shop . Once it did arrive it took alpine motors over 3 weeks to install it after they said only 1 week. I was given every excuse in the book on why it wasn’t done on there DEADLINE they gave me. Once it was done, they gave me ZERO information on motor they just installed. Awful experience renting a u-haul truck here. Don was the worst customer support representative that I have ever met. I scheduled my truck online and I came in to get my car inspected for towing. When I showed up, he told me that he will have no trucks available and that there aren't any available in the High Rockies right now.
I understand that end of the winter or summer season is always a busy time, but I should have received notice ahead of time, not find out 2 days before I need to move. If I had not showed up, I wouldn't have found out until the day of. I will never use this place for any

I took my vehicle to another shop in valley and got a quote for over $800. I took my vehicle to Alpine to get new brakes and to have an electrical issue diagnosed. They fixed my vehicle and charged me less than 1/2 of the other shop’s quote. They were honest and thorough. I will definitely use Alpine in the future. Thanks

Recently had a car repair done there. Those mechanics know their stuff! They were prompt efficient, got my car back same day of repair. No games or gimmicks. This was a 2nd diagnosis, where the other place was completely trying to sell me something I didn’t need. Caylub is exceptionally personable and Daniel as well. After first experience, they will be my full time auto service specialist. They also sell tires and rent Uhaul! I will highly recommend and they will install customer supplied new parts!

I have been treated extremely rudely every time I've come here. Due to a lack of other options, I have had to rent a Uhaul truck from Alpine Motors 3 times in the past year. Most recently, I decided to drive farther to rent a truck in New Castle so I would pay extra in mileage, but I wouldn't need to give this business my money. However after making my online reservation in New Castle, Uhaul called me to tell me that the truck I reserved was not going to be available and they were going to transfer my reservation to Alpine Motors in Glenwood Springs.

I had some weird issues with my 4runner having some sticking issues with the axle when I first accelerated in the mornings. The guy there was condescending about the problem being real. They finally looked at it when it got real bad and diagnosed it as warped break rotors. $600 bucks later I still had the same problem. I found an awesome mechanic in GJ who was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. These guys basically did the easiest thing they could find without doing any real research on the problem.

I lost hydraulic pressure on my manual clutch on I-70 travelling cross state on Saturday. They happened to be open so I pulled in. They knew exactly what was wrong, got a replacement part and got me back on the road in an hour. I was very impressed and would recommend their mechanic services to anyone.

Watch out for these guys they're horrible. Took my truck in for a front end alignment before buy new tires After $1100 worth of repairs The truck pull to the left and would not turn all the way to the right. The second time I picked it up they said a bowl had not been typed up that's why it wouldn't turn but it still pulls to the left. After we took it for a test drive they told me oh it's not that bad I've seen much worse and would not put it back on the rack to Check it. Took it over to discount tire and they allotted perfect. These guys are just a bunch a con artist
