Experience our warm and inviting atmosphere, safe from cross contamination! Yes, you can have toast or a sandwich, pasta or pizza, share meals with your friends, enjoy delicious French bread. Mary Steiger started cooking as a child and by the time she was seven years old, she knew she wanted to be a baker when she grew up.

Susan Fulton came from a family with a passion for food and always fantasized about opening a restaurant. The two traveled very different roads until their paths met in Tucson in 2008. Current medical research has found that an amazing array of symptoms and disease are linked to gluten intolerance.

I was thrilled to be able to order a gluten-free birthday carrot cake and gluten-free hot dog buns for a friend. She enjoyed all of the baked goods I acquired. I liked the packaging, and the restaurant is very smart in displaying goods for sale in its waiting area, as I definitely impulse-bought cookies didn't need. The restaurant was busy, and the diners seemed very pleased. I know where to get my future gluten-free baked goods.

I ordered the breakfast quesadia and it was OK. It was supposed to have sausage in it and it did have a slight sausage flavor with one actual bite of sausage. I had to ask for more salsa because they brought about two tablespoons in a little cup for the entire meal.
The breakfast potatoes were the best I've ever had. I tasted my husband's toast and thought it was awful. Why not use some of the more tasty gluten free flours? Make a mixture that is flavourful.
We bought some cupcakes at a steep price to give them a try. I had one and didn't like the flavor of the cake. The frosting was super sugary

Wonderful experience! We are here visiting and we don’t have a dedicated gluten free restaurant locally at home. When I saw this on the “Find me Gluten Free” app I knew I had to bring my daughter. She was so… overwhelmed by how many options she had that it made my heart fill with joy seeing her struggle to choose. She couldn’t make a decision so she ended up eating a classic chocolate cupcake for lunch and I ordered the fried cheese. She was diagnosed with celiacs before her 2nd birthday and she has never been somewhere that I could tell her yes to everything on the

This was by far the BEST experience I have had in a long time. I am always worried if I go out to eat and probably the waitress is rolling there eyes with all the questions I have. Having Celiacs it is difficult to eat out. I now have a new fav and I drive all the way from Rio Rico!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Love this place, the food, the baked goods and the staff.
My husband and I split a pastrami sandwich, D'Italian sandwich and fish and chips. Along with onion rings. Oh my goodness everything was so delicious. We could but eat it all, so had to bring some home along with another pastrami sandwich and lots of baked goodies.
It's a good thing we live a few hours away or we would be fatter than we are. Lol
You must try if you ever get a chance. It won't disappoint.

The best dedicated gluten free bakery and bistro. Their breakfast and lunches are so yummy! The baked goods are amazing! I have been a loyal customer since the 1st day they opened! I don't live in Tucson anymore but when I visit, I always go to Gourmet Girls to eat and get a big bag of baked goods to bring back with me. LOVE their soft pretzels! Actually I haven't had one single thing there that I didn't love!

Four stars for the food; two stars for the value. This is not an artisan bakery, the kind that takes pride in really good bread. Their bread is average, and the focus seems to be the kind of basics like cupcakes and carrot cake that anyone can make.
A breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and cold brew coffee will set you back about $18 before tip. This is diner quality food at Michelin prices. It's nice to have as an option, but their pricing is what I expect from a fancy restaurant in L.A.
(FYI the Yelp profile is not accurate -- masks are no longer required, and few patrons seem

AMAZING!!!!!!! We came for lunch on Saturday and returned on Sunday for breakfast!! Branden was our server and he is absolutely wonderful!!!
My 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 2… years ago. We have struggled to find "fun places" for her to eat and and feel included. We live in a really rural town and don't have anything like Gourmet Girls close to us. We very rarely are able to find "treats" for her.
I used the Find Me Gluten Free app and Gourmet Girls popped up! Talk about a total win!!! You will not be disappointed if you come here! Everything is gluten free

Gourmet Girls is my go to gluten free restaurant and bakery! Delicious breakfast and lunch options! My current favorites are the breakfast burritos, Reuben sandwich with turkey and the fish and chips!
On the bakery side- their cupcakes and cakes are phenomenal! The rosemary focaccia rolls are delicious too. We have had cakes made for birthdays, etc and they are always very tasty.
Lots of vegan/dairy free food and bakery options as well!

This restaurant was great. The staff was friendly, the food tasted good, and they even took COVID precautions seriously by providing hand sanitizers in the establishment. The wait time was alright, but we have to consider that they were probably a bit understaffed. I ate the chicken and waffle. Gourmet Girls is perfect for people with restrictive diets, as everything is gluten free. Recommended whether you are gluten free or not.

Edit: I decided to drop a star because one member of our party didn't have as good of an experience. Everyone else was served well before she got her food and by

First time there. We left very disappointed. My husband said his omelette tasted burnt. The cook probably burnt the bacon/ sausages that was inside the omelette, and his omelette was very dry. His home frys is… usually cooked in a skillet. His looked like it was deep fried. It was terrible. My toast was burnt. Will not go back again. Sorry

Started off our stay in Tucson at Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery & Bistro. Turned out to be a cute hole in the wall spot with a fully-gluten free menu. (Big surprise, eh?) The menu had several excellent choices. I ended up with a veggie omelette - fluffy and filling - gf toast, and potatoes. The taters were super crispy and tasty, and the bread was very decent for whole grain gf. There were also a bunch of gf bakery treats that I wanted to try but didn't. Maybe next time. My only complaint is the use of paper/plastic dishes, utensils, and cups. Maybe this is a safety measure for Covid

Gluten free and amazing!!
Not just for gluten free.
What a gem! People in Tucson don't know how good they have it. Was here on two consecutive days and both times got the breakfast sandwich, breakfast potatoes and a prickly pear cupcake. There are tons of take away offerings. Bread on the sandwiches was not crumbly at all like gluten free often can be. Both days my husband and I got lunch to have later, the quiche of the day, Sonoran sandwich and chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich.
Every city should have a place like this.

Delicious! As a fairly large household with numerous dietary intolerances and preferences, we struggle to find snacks and goodies we can all share. For our first try, we jumped at a box of cupcakes and scooped up just about every variety there was available, which seems limited right now (COVID-19) but still includes all the staples. Gourmet Girls is set to become our one stop shop for all our baked goods. Feels so good to be able to cater to everyone's needs, including the non-allergenic, non-picky few of us. Kinda pricey, around $6 a cupcake, but I am not complaining for a local business

Lovely gem in the desert! Visiting Tucson and decided to give Gourmet Girls GF a try for lunch. It's the first time I was able to show my gf kid a menu and say "ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!!" It was a special moment for sure! I had the chicken salad salad, and the gf kid had the grilled cheese (loved it!), and two others in the party had the fish n chips. They said it was great. I didn't try it, but it looked crispy and golden. We closed the meal out with a bunch of mini cupcakes. I'm not usually a vanilla cupcake fan, but these had a coconut vanilla frosting on top that is

This was my second time at Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery, the first pre-COVID and the second today.

I want to start off by writing that the bakery is complying with all the recommended health codes and there are clear procedures in place such as a clear entrance and exit, hand sanitizing stations, and clear places to order. There is a small section of the dining room open and tables outside if you would like to eat at the establishment.

The food was good as always, this time I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip ($6.75) and a side of cucumber salad. My total bill was almost $11.00. My
