If you have children, think twice before renting here. Leah the property manager does not know how to conduct herself within a professional capacity when faced with redirecting children who live in the complex that play in common areas. I watched in real time how She chose to handle an issue she had of children climbing in trees, by confiscating bikes she found in the common area, then refused to release their property. I watched her pick up my daughters bike when she hopped off to run up a hill with her friends. This was done with no follow up on how to get in contact with parents, I was just

Absolutely not worth the money. Low quality apartments with very high price. They rip your pocket off for nothing. They charge you $35 application fee per person, and $20 fee just for receiving the keys??? Heater gets broken frequently. There's water leaking. You can find various bugs at home sometimes. The staff is rude. The leasing office is hungry for money and totally useless. Don't move here + not "luxurious" as its name says. The person who named here probably doesn't know what luxurious means. There are lots of other apartments worth the money but this isn't the place. If you want to live

They have very rigid rules to charge all kinds of fees. I paid the rent 3 days later, and another 3 days later they charged me late fee. Since they do not have auto-pay, I asked if I can have a warning firstly. They said the late fee is the warning.

Apartments look nice
No high crime
But

Mold can be found all around the back side of Apartments.
Washer machines don't wash clothes clean and very moldy smell.
No good insulation. Must cover windows with plastic.
Please read leasing agreement because you will get screwed over. Once lease is up they will charge double for month to month with a 15% fee for every month.

Don't take anything they tell you over the phone as truth when you are preparing to move out.
They will tell you that you must pay the last month of water bill. Don't go on line to pay like you would do every

Now that we have finally moved out I wanted to make sure I left a review... this place is run by money hungry people. No care in the world about anything besides the rent you pay. You don't pay for luxury at all. You pay for convenience of location which is one of the only good things I have to say. This also isn't a place for a family with kids.. people and maintence fly through the complex and if your walking or riding bikes it is very dangerous. They also do an upcharge on top of an upcharge if you have to go 6 m- month to month when you are looking for a house they increase your rent an absurd

Rent is very expensive but the apartments are cosmetically attractive. One downside is a lack of insulation. Wind blew right through our apartment all winter. Also, lacks insulation. We heard everything our upstairs neighbors did. Literally everything. We unfortunately knew when they were doing certain things and learned when to avoid being in our bedroom right under theirs. I have never lived in a place with such poor insulation. We were the first tenants in our apartment, lived there when it was brand new. I don't understand why anyone would build apartments with zero insulation. For $1448

This complex is extremely overpriced given the conditions of their units and construction of their buildings - not to mention the location. We had roaches in our unit upon moving in and had Leah in the office blame the problem on us. We had Matt in the leasing office tell us we were okay to make a late payment and then got hit with legal fees and almost had to go to court - twice. The second time being when we decided to give notice of moving out and they served us with a 3 day pay or leave notice. The roads in the complex are terrible. Curves the entire way and you can’t see when someone will

I lived at hudson preserve for around 4 years , the apartments were nice, even though the appliances were out dated, my back yard was basically a swamp, the maintenance dept were unreliable and not the nicest, the on sight manager lea was rude and for what I was paying for rent, I should not have had all these problems. I don’t recommend moving into here. But The pool was nice, if you can get a chair and if there weren’t a bunch of kids in the pool.

My fiancé and I have lived at Hudson Preserve for a little over a year now. We have been in both an upstairs one bedroom and downstairs one bedroom, we moved for personal preference. We both have nothing to complain about. All maintenance requests that we’ve had to put in (malfunctioning a/c unit for example) have been fixed in a timely fashion. Our neighbors have been pleasant and quiet enough for our liking. No neighborly noise in an apartment complex is impossible, we understand we are sharing a building with other people. We wanted to give a shoutout to Matt for being super helpful and always

Very nice place to live, but the intersection where the rental office is very dangerous if people are walking and getting the mail as traffic flies fast as there is no speed bump or yield signs. not the best place especially for kids.

I am surprised to see 5 start reviews by many. I am current resident and my drier is not working since last one month. Leasing office team have not control over maintenance request. Lia makes excuses and unable to get my problem resolved. In harsh winter i have to use common drier facility and we are talking about luxury residence. It is luxury without maintenance request closed on time

When i was on my way to the complex for the first time, i thought "Watervliet"? Meh? It turned out the property is actually on the Latham-Watervliet border and you never have to be in Watervliet if you don't want to!
Large apartments, some with a balcony, others with a patio. Our unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and has a washer dryer in the unit! Rooms are spacious and clean when we moved in. All efficiency, recent appliances, air conditioning, etc. The property is quiet, except for the Landscaping company who's on site one or two days a week. There is a trail around the

At first glance, this place is beautiful. It is nestled far back from the main road and is well manicured, and the apartment layouts are spacious. We had an end unit that overlooked nothing but trees. It really is a stunning place.

BUT, the apartments themselves have been skimped on in every way. There is no sink disposal, and there is the smallest refrigerator I've ever seen. The dishwasher does not actually wash the dishes either. The paint has to be the cheapest kind available. Trying to wash a smudge off will wipe the paint off as well, and it is cracking in the ceiling. The 'bar

We moved here from the west coast. My wife and I have lived in many different places over the years. We moved here in November of 2012 and had to move away due to a layoff. The apartment complex was very nice in working with us too and our lease early. When rehired I was able to come back and get the very same style apartment again.

The office staff have always been very helpful and friendly to us. The maintenance team works very quickly to rectify any issues that we have had. Compared to other places we have lived in the country the price is very reasonable for what you get. The ambience and

I am writing this review after months of hoping that I would get an resolution to my issues. Currently, I am seeking council as well. My review stems from safety concerns. I live in an upstairs 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. I have a wife and 3 year old daughter that live with me as well. The apartment complex itself was seemingly great for family living when I signed my lease, lots of walking trails and a safe drive area to be able to take walks in the summer, the lack of a swingset or play area of any kind did not bother me as we were close enough in driving distance to go to several great parks

I've read some pretty bad reviews on this place on other sites, but I wanted to put in my two cents. I've been living here for over 2 years now and I've really enjoyed it. The rent is expensive but for the amenities I think it's a great value. I love my beautiful apartment and don't plan on leaving any time soon. I never hear noise from any neighbors and no one ever bothers us. A couple of things have broken over the years but nothing a work order can't fix. You can definitely tell the stuff is cheap...my fridge had a plastic part that cracked, my lazy susan cracked

I am writing a review about Hudson Preserve, the apartment complex I currently live in, and am very conflicted about - there are days I love it, and days I am counting down till my lease expires.

HP bills itself as a Luxury Residence, and maybe as such does not think it would need to provide its residents the freebies that other complexes of its price range include - free internet/cable, free washer/dryer in each unit (you can rent them here for $30/month), free storage unit, etc, but these things would certainly be nice.

HP was built quickly, and sometimes you can tell where they cut corners
