The equipment is kept clean and organized. It's small, but you typically don't have to wait too long for equipment.
My only complaint is that the mask mandate is not being enforced. I received an email a few weeks ago saying that NPF would require masks in order to comply with CA law. I also recently received an email stating that they changed their decision to require masks and it was declared within the app (I never received this notification, but maybe I just missed it). Their decision not to enforce masks is also not on their website or IG as far as I can tell. They haven&apos

Great gym, 3 squat racks w/ deadlift platforms in the front, two more squat racks with benches in the back. Additional bench press in the front. Has the full assortment of machines, treadmills, stairmaster, bikes, etc. Also has plenty of free weights, kettlebells, as well as a pull-up area with TRX bands and Olympic rings. Staff is very friendly.
Would give five stars, but due to relatively small gym in a populated area, the squat rack / deadlift platforms are often taken. Fortunately most folks are friendly and will let you work in, though this is less than optimal during a pandemic. Was a better

I absolutely love this gym. They recently just got new equipment too, so the gym is updated. They have a few treadmills, and three elliptical, and a couple stationary bikes for cardio. They have two rooms, they have a weight/stretch room, and another room full of the machines and such. The staff is so friendly, and are very attentive. If you have questions about how to use any of the equipment they are more than happy to help. It is about 40 a month for a membership, and 15 dollars a day for a day pass if you want to bring a guest. They keep the gym really clean, and it is a fun and friendly environment

This is an update of a previous review regarding customer service. I have lived in and around this neighborhood for five years. I was shopping around for a gym membership, because I desperately needed to get back into shape. I had some injuries that contributed to 30 lb weight gain, and, to add insult to injury (literally), the pandemic set me back around another 15 lbs. I finally felt motivated to break out of the injury cycle. I am a veteran and have been fighting back, knee, and ankle injuries for years. I desperately missed having a more active lifestyle since leaving the military. At 172,

Man , a lot of the bad reviews here are from highly sensitive people! It's a gym ! Come in , get your workout and leave .
All those who complain about the pettiest thing belong in a planet fitness type of gym .
I'm a new member , going on 2 months and I have had no problems .
I did not call or email and ask questions about pricing ; I simply looked at their rates online , chose the one that best suited me and came in to sign up .
I do not need to feel welcomed by staff , however they do say what's up every-time I come in . I don't have social media to follow up on their

This place is great! Super friendly and personable staff, appropriate distribution of equipment (though I am geared towards weights- there look to be a lot of cardio machines but I never really use those!) so that you’re rarely waiting for anything which is awesome. Clientele are super COVID-conscious, mask wearing is universal and equipment is regularly cleaned.

I was a member at North Park Fitness for two years before Covid. When I tried to re-activate my membership, they wanted a $50 "initiation fee." For what? My data was still in the computer. It's just a sleazy cash grab.
The equipment is good and the employees are generally on the ball. I would've been happy to work out here, but they are apparently trying to squeeze every drop of profit from even their loyal customers. There are other gyms in North Park. Try to find one where the owners aren't quite so greedy.

I was about to join. They seemed like they would follow CDC guidelines, like outside there's a sign saying masks are required. However just when i looked in the entrance before going in, the male employee sitting at the front desk wasn't even wearing one. If their employees won't even put one on when sitting down, it's highly doubtful that they will actually enforce masks with guests. Reported to the county for this major health violation.

It's not a bad small gym for it's size/price but the customer service is horrible. When signing up, they seemed like they could care less if we were to join. We were then rushed through the signup and instead of instructed how to login to manage our account, the staff just said that it's easier to take a picture of the QR code and present it when we came in. Flash forward to Covid19, we don't get any communication from the business in terms of opening and closing. A drive around the neighborhood indicated that they were open so I went to cancel my membership through e-mail

As an athlete training for Tokyo 2020 Olympics, I require the best equipment in the gym for my lifts. North Park Fitness has everything you need from squat racks, bench, area where you can do Olympic lifts, free weights and most importantly a friendly staff. Every time I leave the gym I feel stronger and complete. Definitely worth checking out for a drop in or a membership!

My wife wrote a review for me because I could not recover my password but it was taken down because it was a "second hand experience" so I've taken the liberty to recover my password and share with you my experience with this place of business over the phone.
On March 7, around 5:30 pm, I called to get information about rates for the family plan rate as we were interested in joining this gym. I asked, "would just me and my wife be considered a family?" (we have a 1 1/2 year old who obviously wouldn't be on the plan) The employee on the phone replied, "use common

I really wanted to love this place, since I live about a block away and knew it'd be super convenient. Most of the people in my complex go here, so I thought I'd give it a try.
I tried it 3 or 4 times with a trial membership and every time I went in I felt that the people at the front desk were rude or dismissive. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely do not want hand holding or coddling, or even small-talk at the gym. However, I would like the staff to treat everyone like they are welcome and that is simply not the experience that I had. I am not an overly sensitive person but this

Been a member here for 2 years now and it was the first thing I looked into after moving here. Went to multiple gyms around town to find the best for what I was looking for - a weightlifting gym with all the equipment I needed, not crowded, and good price. North Park Fitness fits the bill.
They have 3 squat racks, dumbbells up to 100, variety of machines for lifting and cardio - including a rowing one. They are also new, was all renovated a couple of months ago. At peak hours after work I never find myself waiting for any equipment, which is amazing. The guys there do an awesome job of keeping

Sadly after auditing my credit card records for the period of 2015 - 2016 I discovered that my husband and I were being charged 90.00 a month for our family membership which is only supposed to be 50.00 a month. This was done by the previous owners when my husband was added to my account. 1080.00 a year, this place is not worth that trust me, no showers, no classes or so I thought until I talked to Lewis the new owner today. I found out that the Yoga Classes that they have on Wednesday and Thursday nights are part of our membership and not an "extra" charge as I was told over a year ago
