Our first location, Point Loma, was established in 2017 and co-founded by Jamie Rice and Billy Canu. It's taken off and already has been called "The #1 Group Fitness in San Diego.". We focus on dynamic muscle building and weight loss workouts that are customized to your abilities and needs. North Park, It's where co-founders Jamie and Billy first met and dreamed up the concept of our muscle building group fitness formula. Truly the best fitness class around! I have been attending the North Park location about 4-5 times a week for about a month now, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Renegade Fitcamp strategically plans each workout to challenge every muscle group throughout the week. They list the areas that will be worked out for each day of the week on their app, so you are mentally prepared about which muscle groups will be focused on before even coming to class. I live in Old Town and have been going to the Hillcrest and Point Loma locations for a few weeks now. I’ve never been a big class guy but I love the Renegade workouts. The coaches are all awesome and the workouts are always different and interesting. Highly recommend!

If you live in the Hillcrest / Mission Hills / Banker's Hill neighborhood, I would highly recommend Renegade! The 50 minute HIIT classes are a highly challenging and fun workout that varies each day targeting different muscle groups. The instructors are encouraging and vigilant to ensure proper technique -- special shoutout to Courtney. They have classes almost every hour so they are very flexible to build a routine and form habits around. Overall, the community is also welcoming and even myself have formed good friends I met from class. You will feel results in weeks!

Recently relocated to San Diego from DC and was looking for a new gym. I found Renegade online and thought I would give it a try. I haven’t tried any other location, but Hillcrest is the most convenient for me. The coaches are extremely helpful and I love that each week is a different format. Highly recommended.

The best decision I have made for my health in the past 5 years was joining Renegade! North park is the main location I go to and all the coaches are extremely helpful, encouraging, and engaged in your personal fitness goals. I was not expecting to love it as much as I do since I'm terrible at cardio (they use assault treadmill and assault bikes) and I was very intimidated by the rigorous style of fitness... but omg it's now my favorite part of class! It's challenging but it really does push you to train at a higher level then I even believed I could!

I went to renegade before covid and just started getting back into it. Have absolutely LOVED it!! The format of the class is incredible with 3 different sections - cardio, turf and weights. The instructors always bring the energy even at the 5 and 6am classes. They explain everything so well and help you throughout class if you need anything. The best Hiit / boot camp style class you can go to!

This is quite honestly the best boutique fitness studio that I have ever discovered after literally trying every single studio in San Diego (that has multiple locations, not stand-alone ones)!

I started going to Renegade back in March of this year when I was studio shopping in addition to also going to a regular gym, and 8 months later I'm still going 1-2x a week in addition to my regular routine! This combination of bootcamp style/CrossFit/PT is exactly what I need as I am a skinnier individual and want to get stronger but also want to push my cardiovascular ability which I don't find

Have been loving going to Renegade! Highly recommend this gym to anyone just starting back to the gym or someone more experienced with training. It is just around the corner from my house so very convenient, also another location right by my work. It offers HIIT style workouts, very helpful coaches, and great playlists. Always leave feeling accomplished. If you're on the fence, try the 3 day free trial. Super happy I found this gym!

So happy I decided to try Renegade. Initially I was super intimidated but the coaches and staff are so warm and welcoming. I've been coming here for almost a year now. This is the perfect gym class set-up for my busy schedule. I'm in and out quick but the intensity and challenge is exactly what I'm looking for. The trainer is always motivating and helpful and the music makes it fun. I can see the results and I'm in the best shape of my life!

I personally struggled with what to do at the gym and had tried out YouTube videos, exercise apps, etc. One of my friends had suggested I try Renegade Fitness and a bonus was that I live within walking distance. After trying it out for two weeks I was hooked! All the trainers are friendly, the routines are challenging, and the sense of accomplishment afterwards is priceless. I am in no way a "gym person" but I feel like the environment at Renegade is inclusive of any body who wants to have structured physical activity. They offer the first 3 classes free so definitely try it out!

Monday evening with Amar (Legs, Back & Biceps) was KILLER! I consider myself a fitness fanatic & have gone to various workout facilities around San Diego & I always come back to Renegade. I teach dance & fitness myself so truly appreciate the high level of workouts and customer service I receive as a client every time I workout here. The North Park location is by far my favorite for multiple reasons.
-Location - Close to 805 freeway on/off ramps. Close to my apt so convenient!
-They're on ClassPass!!
-It's CLEAN. Plenty of spray bottles, wipes & hand sanitizer around

I live just down the street so I've been meaning to check Renegade out for a while. I'm so glad I did!! It's such a good work out! It's HIIT style including three stations (cardio, turf, and the rack). The trainers are friendly. The music is good. Can't wait to go back.

Going back to the gym after a long break can be overwhelming. But going back to Renegade made it easy. The classes are designed to push you, but you can start at a level that works for you, and then increase from there. All of the trainers are knowledgeable, motivating, and make it fun to be back in the gym.

I love Renegade so much! The coaches are always energetic & push you to get a great workout in. They have classes that target all areas of the body, and you can definitely feel/see the changes in yourself the more you go. I always walk away feeling amazing and wanting to go back!

Simply the best HIIT workout in San Diego! As a former professional triathlete I know a little about training. I wish there was a Renegade Fitcamp around when I was racing! I've never been more fit. The staff is so knowledgeable and the workouts are insane! Go get some!

Have to do another updated review because I cannot get over how much I love Renegade. From the trainers/coaches, to the clients, Renegade is simply amazing!!! They are opening more locations which means they are hiring more coaches and they do a superb job at that. It really means A LOT, when a gym takes the time to hire qualified coaches/trainers and ensures they are trained well too. San Diego is such a "fit" city so there are plenty of "trainers" out there, but not all truly know what they are doing.

This gym has gone above and beyond any sort of expectations I had for it.
Pre-COVID, the coaches push you, work you, and train you to really be the best you.
During COVID (to present), their mind set and motto hasn't changed, even amidst all of the challenges they faced; They have continued to thrive while making all of the members feel safe and welcomed back into this new 'normalcy.'

Ever since joining Renegade Fitcamp over a year ago I have never felt more motivated and committed to my health. At 47 yrs of age I felt a huge decline in my energy and needed a kick start. Taking the classes at Renegade gave me just that. Workouts are intense and designed for results if you do your part. Every single trainer there has the knowledge and motivation to guide you during the class. If you are looking for results and are tired of going to these big box gyms to see people wasting time sitting on machines, hit up Renegade.

My favorite workout class ever! They play the best music to pump you up, the trainers are very motivating and will help you with your form and they switch up the exercises every class so it stays fun. The classes can be medium or as hard as you want. Perfect for all levels!!

Had another great workout at Renegade today, this time at their Hillcrest location! I was nervous to try the METCON class at first, but I'm so glad I did. Tim is a great instructor that will motivate you to push your limits, while still creating a class environment that is fun and accessible for beginners like myself. He patiently explains each exercise, and is quick to provide kind assistance if you're ever confused about the moves during the round. While the classes are challenging, I'm never made to feel inadequate, and I always leave feeling accomplished (and sweaty)! Love this place and looking

I spent years doing various workouts. Never really satisfied with one place. I was a loyal ClassPass user until they got rid of unlimited classes. On my quest for my next gym, I walked out of my first class at Renegade Fitcamp and knew I had found what I was looking for. The format is three, 15-minute segments.
