As the saying goes: "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." At Lombard Animal Hospital, we believe in the power of preventative medicine. Preventative care seeks to prevent disease before it takes root, with the idea that it's much easier to prevent an illness than it is to try to cure it down the line.
Lombard Animal Hospital offers Class IV Laser therapy to pets whose pain is not fully managed by their medication regimen. If your pet does not tolerate conventional pharmaceuticals well, or if they are still experiencing pain even while on their medication, laser therapy can be a great addition to their treatment.

I have been a customer of this veterinary clinic for a few years now and over the past year and a half, since COVID, I have experienced a significant decline in quality of service from them. More often than not, they make mistakes with my requests for prescription refills, fail to call me back or get back to me when they say, and are rarely kind or humble when they make errors. I recently needed my dog's medication refilled and they failed twice to tell me correctly when they were going to refill it, which delayed the process of me picking up the medication and put my dog's health in danger. They

I called when my rabbit was experiencing the beginning stages of GI stasis and was told they didn’t have the capacity to see him. That’s understandable, but I wasn’t given any other suggestions of other vets or resources!

We have given Lombard Animal Hospital thousands of dollars for the care of our elderly dog. Since the pandemic, they have been overwhelmed with new clients, and their quality has dropped extremely. I live a two minute walk away. My dog started choking, his nose was bleeding, and he began coughing up blood. I called in a panic and explained that I was around the corner, and that the emergency vet was 20 minutes away. They would not let me bring my dog, and coldly told me to make my way to the emergency vet. Thankfully, my dog coughed up the long, sharp, bloody blade of grass that was causing the

I started coming to Lombard Animal Hospital when my family adopted bunnies and our regular vet wouldn't see them. I learned about your integrative care and decided to bring our English Bulldog to see Dr. Victoria. I have had such a good experience with your clinic throughout our near-monthly visits over the past six months (between the bunnies and the dog) that I have decided to make Lombard our primary vet for all our family pets. I have recommended your clinic to my neighbors and friends. I'm so happy I started coming to your clinic!

Lombard Animal Hospital has been great for me and my dog Penelope the past couple years. We really appreciate all they have done for us, especially during COVID. Prices are fair and I have never felt pressure to spend more than what is necessary. We are so grateful Lombard Animal Hospital is in our lives!

I have been taking my dogs there for a few years now Montie (RIP) and Milo. While Montie was having health challenges they never gave up on him. We tried everything that we could with the help of my mom. I never once felt like they were trying to sell me anything, they are very transparent, and willing to share their knowledge and resources. This place is simply amazing

A few rotten apples ruin the barrel. Michelle and Dr. Stuie turned this business from a 5 star to a 1 star with their lack of customer service and wierd unfriendly attitudes. They were especially short and rude to my grandmother whom I told had to switch to Lombard with her dog fozzy. Boy was I wrong. Now they've lost my business and my grandmothers. This place used to be wonderful and my 5 star review goes to a 1, and well gladly never return.
